In the good old days when we left the ERM under another Tory government and the £ collasped they increased rates to 17%, yes seventeen%.
    Happy days.

Just observing YBS is making an aggressive move: The Loyalty 6 easy access is above the top rate of the tiered account?

Not sure Yorkshire BS should be included if it's not open to everyone.

For quite a while I have kept £10 in my Yorkshire BS Six Access E Saver to make sure I qualify for their very competitive Loyalty products. Their various Regular Saver products mature after 1 year and I`m not sure if having one of these would qualify for these conditions even if you start a new RS when an old one matures.
By default YBS regular saver accounts mature into an account of a different type, but keeping the same account number and other details.

I can't see why whatever a RS account matured into wouldn't work for the 12-month eligibility rule, assuming the account is kept open of course.

YBS accounts: remember they won't let you make withdrawals for 14 days from account opening, even on instant access accounts.

the Rainy Day account is available to everyone, so that would qualify to be #1 in the list... personally, i'd swap them around in the position and just mention the Loyalty a/c in passing, but that's soulsaver's baby to handle how they see best. :)

Only the rainy day account is stretching the definition of easy access. On the anniversary of opening the account or closing it.

that's not the case. The 2 withdrawal days can be any time of the year. The "On the anniversary of opening" refers to at what point of the year the number of withdrawals resets back to 2 again.

It's sort of like a limited access account but resets each year.

You just close it, max holding is 'only' £5k. ('only' reflecting the main demographic of this board).
