You sure? Their headline page for M Money says 2.02%. on first £1000. Which one pays 5%?andyhicks88 said:To be honest Virgin Money looks a great option now because consider the fact that if you switch to them currently for the current account you also get 5% on the first 1,000 in the current account. I think I will be switching to them to take advantage of what they have to offer. My father banks with them and hasn't had issues so I'm comfortable with using them.0

Yes that's the standard rate, however if you switch to them currently you get a 3% bonus that takes it to 5.02% for a year plus £100 experience vouchers. That's the new switch package.1

Virgin SavingsThe 1% is great but I need to be careful because of adding together £1000 in each current account, the amounts in Home Buyer regular savers, and from 1 March the amounts in the linked savers might bring the total saved with one bank too high. Remember Northern Rock.As an aside the new switching interest rate of 5% is not available to existing customers. Please read the T&C.0

The 1% on the Virgin linked account on the first £25k is very welcome.
Especially so for anyone with 'a few' of the 2% C/A and consequently a few of these saver accounts.
Might suit anyone who needs to keep multiples of £25k liquid.1

            Bloomin heck.
Taken my eye off the ball recently but this morning resurrected my Atom app and opened Instant Saver @ 0.75% as marginally better home for my Coventry BS Limited Access cash. Change of address meant a phone call, which is slightly odd for an app only account, but hey ho, very quickly sorted.
 Now there's a Virgin @ 1%. Just as well Coventry withdrawal isn't instant 0 0
