Skipton BS and Cambridge BS withdrawals are processed same day, if done early enough.

Yorkshire BS is next working day.

I have savings accounts with Coventry BS and their withdrawals to external accounts have always been paid the day after the withdrawal date on the account statement. Internal transfers are same-day, however.
That's not been my experience with Coventry BS.  It's true that you cannot withdraw instantly to an external account, it's always the next business day, but that is the withdrawal date, so you don't lose interest.

Surprised to read this in this evening's MSE weekly email:

Ends 8am today (Wed). Top standard easy access: Ford Money 0.73%, min £1

Thanks for that. I rechecked my statements and confirmed the statement date is the same as the payment date, as you say, although the payments requested the day before.

Very odd. I think it may be a mistake.

Maybe not. I seem to recall FM withdrawing savings accounts within a very short time.

    I stand corrected.

”Due to unprecedented demand, it has now been removed for new customers”

I wonder how long they will retain the rate for existing customers.

It also looks like existing Ford Money customers can still open a new Flexible Saver, at the same rate of 0.73% by logging in first.

Transferred £1 into my Ford easy access account just to make sure things are set up properly.

Transfer was at 2pm & was In my account at 4pm.
