I tried a deposit earlier today, just to see what happens on non-business days. I got a text around 4pm to confirm the deposit, which also shows with today's date in my account.

Withdrawals will now not be processed before Monday (the Processing Date), and there is a message to say the money should be in the nominated account by close of business the next working day following the Processing Date

Has anyone applied for an investec account in the last few days?

I applied on Thursday morning but haven’t heard back either way, which I thought was a bit strange!

I applied about a week ago and the account was opened instantly at the end of the application process.

What message did you get on the webpage at the end of the application?

Have you checked your email spam folder?

Nothing received in spam. I just got a text to say we’ll be in touch when the application is processed. It’s only been one and a half working days, but as per your experience, thought it’d be instant.

Sounds like maybe they were unable to verify your identity electronically, or needed to do some other checks. Maybe give them a poke on Monday. I had cause to phone them the other day and they answered pretty quickly.

I have a CBS Double Access Saver, variable rate. No notification & no rate increase showing online.

Most institutions seem to be waiting until 01 March to increase savings rates so I think I'll make any savings decisions then.

Wasn't that converted to a Limited Access Saver (6 withdrawals per year) ?
