According to the Moneyfacts website, Ford Money's Flexible Saver rate will be increasing to 0.73%
Hadn't logged into my FM account in a while. They somehow disabled my biometric login, and I had to type in all the login details again (arrrgggh). Still showing 0.63% as of now.

The Moneyfacts page implies that it is currently paying 0.73% not that it will be paying 0.73%.

Ford Money are usually very good at keeping their information up to date. I wonder if someone has made a typo from 0.63 to 0.73

Sometimes Moneyfacts lists savings product interest rate rises a bit early.

I've seen other savings products on the website advertised at a specific rate and it's only the next day that the interest rate rise is updated on the provider's website.  It will be interesting to see if the Ford Money website will list it at 0.73% from tomorrow (11th February).

They announced earlier increases on their Twitter site on 1st Feb and 5th Jan, although I also received emails on each of those days.

Is that for existing savers as their website still says 0.63%
  • I see it is showing on website as 0.63% but on my app account showing as 0.73% so assume they have reduced for new customers

    Ford Money say:

    Our Best Rate Guarantee

Enjoy our best available rate, even after you’ve opened your account. On variable rate products you’ll always enjoy the same rates as our new customers on like-for-like products. Where this means your interest rate will decrease, we’ll let you know at least 30 days before the change.

I think they will update their website to 0.73% later today.
