Only downside for me is you can only have the app on 1 devicerefluxer said:
My experience was exactly as above - ID and nominated account verified straight away. Their online banking site is great and I really like the method of using a fingerprint on a smartphone to log into it - one of the slickest 2FA methods I've come across and much more convenient than the usual text code that other banks use.schiff said:
What are Oxbury's requirements for ID checks and setting the nominated bank account as a new client - please?savethepandas said:

just thinking out loud:
edge 7% saver. can it be closed before the 12 months is up and a new one opened? i know you can open a new one if you close after maturity.
edit: actually i'll leave that question here but realise how dumb and pointless it was.

It can, I did that myself last month to push the maturity date on a bit.pfpf said:just thinking out loud:

....but my edit. with the bonus guarantee only being 2.5%, does it matter about the maturity date?0

But what if it gets pulled and the interest rate remains competitive? It could be useful to push the maturity date on a few months so that you can benefit from the 7% rate for longer.pfpf said:....but my edit. with the bonus guarantee only being 2.5%, does it matter about the maturity date?1 -
Same day for my monthly scheduled Skipton transfer, around 10amintalex said:
Are funds usually in the nominated account the same day as the scheduled transfer (assuming working day)? Or does it start the BACS process and reach nominated account 2 working days after the scheduled transfer?cmundo said:
I use Skipton for regular withdrawals and i think you can set up on Ford Money saver but only through website.slacko2 said:Are there any EA accounts that allow you to make regular monthly transfers out to say a current account for dd's etc0 -
True EA accounts are those that can be opened and maintained with £1 and allow unlimited withdrawals. True Instant EA accounts are those True EA accounts that advertise instant deposits and withdrawals 24/7 (up to a few hours, but usually within minutes).I've removed soulsaver's ranking that I usually keep for comparison for now, given we disagree on the inclusion of Wealthify, the tables would no longer be consistent.Since last time, Hampshire Trust has gone NLA which brings Ford Money back into the scorecard, and Tesco Bank's rate crept up ever so slightly which may be of interest to people. Looking forward to MPC meet this week...I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.9 -
What is the issue with Wealthify? I have the account and have found it to be excellent.0

Is anyone having issues with interest payment from Chip?
Noticed this morning 7th May that the daily pending amount for April has today reset and now shows first 7 days pending for May…. BUT there has been no payment of interest this morning for April’s interest.
EDIT: Disregard….. This second now showing as Processing.
First time they have been slow to act on the result of Pending then transferred into actual interest.0 -
For anyone who got the Metro Bank Limited Edition 5.22% that subsequently went down to 4.97%, I received a letter this morning that said it's going down to 3.95% 8th July but they are removing the 12 month restrictionOther rates are reducing as well4
