Just opened so easily on line. Had problems with Coventry online opening of accounts but recently seem to have upped their game. Now very impressed with them

    Re- Coventry triple access.
Is there an easy way to do an internal transfer with the coventry triple access saver (from the 4 access saver)? I have set the new account up and it is showing on my accounts list but there doesn't seem to be a way to do internal transfer without setting up new payee?

I have just closed my 4 access saver. All my other Coventry accounts were listed in the drop-down, including the new Triple Access one I had opened just before. The remaining balance and outstanding interest were transferred instantly.

Have you tried scrolling down the "Choose an existing payee" drop down list on the Make a payment page?
    Just a thought

Exactly this, the interface is a bit clunky but it was there.

Have to say that setting up the new Coventry account was an absolute doddle, and monies transferred from old to new in seconds.

Are you wanting to close the 4 access account? If so you will get an option of where you want it paid to which will include the new triple access when you click on close account. Otherwise you have to set up new payee.

Yes I tried the existing payee option but it only showed my external account. To be fair I haven't tried closing the account I usually like to leave a pound in and keep them open in case the rates increase to exceed the new account. Do we think the chances of this are slim and best to just close account?
