While it's so low it verges on off topic, Starlings current account will now pay 3.25% so that's good enough to not need to move the bills to a savings account, or deal with Kroo's problems.

Have you ever contacted them to ask why they don't do this?   I find on other issues they're better than some other banks at responding to customer complaints.

The same reason many other BSs / banks also follow the new issue route, it's more profitable for them.

Charter blotted their copybook recently with how long it took them to respond to the complaints about Issue 42 interest rate not being increased in accordance with their email.

Glad I delayed on moving the savings I had in my old 4 access account to that beehive account, lol. Will move it to this new triple access instead.

Just opened so easily on line. Had problems with Coventry online opening of accounts but recently seem to have upped their game. Now very impressed with them
