Tandem going to 4.36 % tomorrow just had e mail

V good rate but disappointing admin. I have a Santander current account connected, used it dozens of times for deposits into and withdrawals from Tandem. Suddenly I can no longer use OB for deposits from Santander. Withdrawals to Santander still ok. CS no help.
I have a Santander current account connected to it, which I switched out over a year ago. Tandem state that apparently they cannot remove it from my list of connected accounts, even though it clearly cannot be connected any more. No idea what would happen if I tried to send money to that connected account!

If you would send money to the switched out Santander account it would be redirected to the account you switche too. I think there is a rather long time (3 years?) for which payments get redirected.

Santander eSaver Special Edition issue 1 or whatever, is still stuck at 3.69%. Do they ever increase the rate ?

    Wonder if Chip will respond?
Probably will. One thing is clear, I will be reducing my NBS tracker and YBS rainy day to £1 tomorrow.   The money will go to Tandem and later to Chip if they respond.

Cancelled my NBS account, shocking never received even a letter after applying on the 28th June!

They've increased the term from 12 to 20 months instead. Don't see much logic in this term increase when the rate remains low.

I know it's not in the top 10 easy access - and it does have that caveat that if you withdraw on any day of the month other than the 1st, you lose a chunk of interest - but the HSBC online bonus saver has changed it's £10k limit to £50k - so you can earn 4% for every whole month your money is in there - and 1.75% for the remainder of the month if you take money out.
