We decided to just consolidate the accounts we'd have been looking to close shortly anyway. We didn't open any new donor accounts, just to switch. Call us crazy!!! We've still done 4 accounts each, so can't complain at £800.

Did you offer your remaining codes on the referrers board. You could still make £50 on each code that way at no effort to yourselves.

I assume they'd be lots sloshing around on there, so no we haven't...maybe I will and see?! Do I just say PM me if you want them?
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

Yes, best not to post the codes in your message in case they are used more than once. It wouldn't affect you but a referee might miss out.

    Hello

Just wanted to ask, what are the fastest donor accounts to open up, that would work?

    Thanks for any help

Tsb and Lloyds are both quick and painless.
Both give you account numbers and sort codes as soon as the applications are approved and both send out cards very quickly.

I opened a tsb account on Sunday and the card arrived Tuesday.
Lloyds was 2-3 days for the card arriving also.

This has turned out to be one hell of a rare offer in that the number of people seeking to be referred appears to match the referrers. Can't imagine how much this has cost not only santander, but all the other banks opening new accounts and issuing cards/letters etc with no gain.. The consumer wins big time.
