    Er, really? 😉
Well, mine is ! Having signed up with Symbio a few days ago I thought that this apparently red hot news meant that Ofgem had sunk it, but it turns out that it had all been settled long before Selectra published its very stale news.

Symbio do have  fixed rates seemingly available 14.5p ish kwh, 26p standing charge

I don't see any of these tariffs when using the "get a quote" service on their website. Every variable tariff listed expires on 31st May.

Okay. Give you that. Hope it really turns out not too painful.  B)

No panic for me either having fixed an unbeatable rate for the next 13 months, which I intend to enjoy while it lasts.
So where does the opinion lie presently then?,with Clive Dunn:Dont Panic!,or John Laurie:We're Doomed!.

If you look at Uswitch, it is showing new - much more expensive - tariffs for Symbio.

With luck, it will be "You are awful... but I like you" and "I've started, so I'll finish"

It's crazy how symbio make the simple so overly complicated. I don't understand why existing customers couldn't rake one of their current (or new) tariffs. They'll be shooting themselves in the foot.

Looks like all their current deals are around the 15p to 16p mark with a 26p standing charge, which isn't very competitive (considering the associated potential agro)

I wonder what they will do about all the tariffs taken out in the last few days at 13p and 10p standing charge....they all seem to be proceeding OK.....may be worth checking that first bill!!

I was not replying to any particular post ,this thread is not specifically about "variable rate tariffs"  I highlighted  apparent cheap fixed rate tariffs seemingly available with later tariff end date than 31 May
"Sounds like they are on the brink and therefore unable to offer any more cheap deals"

With the current influx of new customers, that's a bigger pool of people to take their interest free cashflow loan from. So I see them being around for some time yet. All previous predictions of their imminent demise were wrong!

And all the existing customers who are unable to fix will switch way while Symbio holds on to their credit for months before refunding it.
