A bit of googling indicated a provider must sent it between 42-49 days of the end of the term, but I'm not sure if that is the latest regulation.
Mine came 49 days before end of tariff.0 -
Must be a new thing then, daughter received nothing until 28 days before.

My renewal notice just arrived. I don't think I will be staying with symbio.

I just got mine on day 49. It is suggesting that if I don't do anything, I will automatically enrolled onto a new fix with an exit fee. I was under the impression that you could only be rolled onto a fix if it did not have any exit fees. Would aynyone with more knowledge be able to confirm this?

Octopus, Out Fox, Coop, all offer fixes with no exit penalty.
The Symbio renewal tariff is not their best offer. I too was not happy with auto renewal on to another (uncompetitive) fix with exit penalties so I left.0 -

Read your email again it provides the link to accept or choose another tariff?I've been on a number of fixes in the past which did not have an exit fee.My email states 'Should you fail to provide your response by the 01 December 2020, you will be placed on the above tariff effective from 01 December 2020.'The above tariff having a £25.000 exit fee.I won't be staying with Symbio, I'm just trying to find out whether it is correct that they should not be doing this. Is this against OFGEM rules?0 -
Most certainly against the rules but Symbio don't care about that.

You can Accept or Select a new preference plan by clicking: HERE, Should you fail to provide your response by the 01 November 2020, you will be placed on the above tariff effective from 01 November 2020 .
As to OFGEM rules. Would think breaking them if they did not inform you? they appear to offering a fixed deal similar to what you were on.
Your choice to accept? I went by the link and renewed a variable tariff. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0
