Another over inflated estimate for March but not as ridiculous as January.
61% over EAC here as well. It will probably be a relatively high usage month, but 803 units is ridiculous (Usage from September onwards: 480, 510, 530, 527,495,386). It's almost as if they simply add any "variance unit" refund straight back on to the current month estimate.
Their estimates now total 4300 units for the 7 months I have been with them (and that's after a reduction of 300 for January), that leaves only 1700 for the next 5, or 340 per month. Even Symbio's advanced mathematicians should realise something's not quite right.
Probably not enough to make me go through the hassle of switching, although green. is £29 cheaper, and Orbit has a similar saving, although it's a variable tariff.

My bill seems to come 2 days after everyone else's but their fantasy estimates are more of a curiosity than a worry for me as I'm on fixed DD

Still awaiting mine. Hopefully it's going through QA to make sure it is correct. Fingers crossed. Also just checked my historical reads and they now only go up to 31.1.20. They systems says 71 of 78 but will not show the last 7 entries. Hopefully nothing to worry about.

Hopefully you've been downloading and saving PDF copies of your bills so you've got your own records, otherwise you could be stuffed when they finally go down the tubes  :'(

You only need to give them one reading a month.

My train wreck of a bill has arrived. Once again carried forward the incorrectly owed amount from the pre-corrected January bill and overestimated March by 40%.  Luckily I am on a fixed monthly payment and know exactly where my account sits.  At least they used my supplied reading this month.

Still awaiting my full bill, so having to work at present from the limited info available from the bill summary.

If you look at the energy usage graph (which shows Symbio's estimated usage figures as opposed to actuals), it shows an exponential increase in estimated usage since December, the month the 'corrected' calculation method was first introduced.

I'm not sure how on any estimate, they can assume I will use 23% more electricity in March than they assumed (on their second attempt) I would use in January, which itself was 32% more than I actually used.

Overall they are assuming 54% increase over EAC/12 (corrected for number of days in month) for us

It'll be very interesting to see how much they underestimate in the Spring/Summer. :*
