There are item specific coupons that change every Thursday but the £5 off £25 spend is not item specific but cannot be used on alcohol or one other product, that I can't remember at the moment as I've already used my £5 coupon.
Baby formula would be the other one.
Thanks for that. Having no babies in the family, it probably went straight over my head.

There’s an awful lot of subjectivity about customers’ opinions on particular products, whether it be Aldi, Lidl or anywhere else.

Tesco sell two versions of double cream. One’s the standard Tesco brand, and the other’s a made up brand with an Aldi price match lower price.  Both are absolutely identical, and that’s confirmed by the labelling.

Yet the Tesco one gets good reviews, and the other gets bad reviews. All in the mind!

I know but I have seen a lot of compliants in the last few weeks due to a change of ingredients in Aldi products.  As I said before I probably have no tastebuds and I know what I like and don't like. But unless something is tastes really foul I eat it.  I also see a lot of people complain about the fruit and veg.  I only have issues because I have not used it up in a reasonable time.  And that is not the shops fault but mine

I am on a customer/fan FB page for Aldi.  And have noticed a lot of people have been complaining about items such as cereal that has had a recipe change not tasting as nice.  I don't think I have any taste buds as I can't taste anything different :D

The only change I have noticed in their cereals is that many brands have been reduced by a few pence each. As a cereal monster this has encouraged me to buy even more! (Malties, and rice pops "for my niece". Cornflakes I prefer Tesco value, and Bixies from Lidl).

Lidl, bought Mister Choc Caramel Biscuit (Twix) and the caramel is nicer than Twix. Get 5x 2 finger bars for 55p or 47p as the Lidl Plus app has Mister Choc range at 15% off,

We noticed quite a change in the taste of their granola some time ago and noticed that they had reduced the quantity of molasses. This has quite a strong flavour but the downside is the high sugar content which is probably why they reduced the amount. Either way, we didn't like the bland taste of the new recipe.

    You're a cereal killer.

I shop mostly at Lidl because it's near me. I like Aldi because it has more choice than Lidl. Unfortunately Aldi is on the outskirts of the next town and I have to rely on a friend to take me, so I don't get there very much but I went on Friday. Among my purchases was 800 gr strawberries. They looked fine but on opening, a lot were very squashy. I know they have to be kept in cold store but they reminded me of strawberries that had been frozen and thawed out. As the email link on Aldi website doesn't work, I phoned customer services. After telling him, I'm unable to get there much and it will probably be several weeks before I can go again, if not a couple of months, he told me to take them back. I reminded him of what I had said and he said just next time I go. So I'm expected to keep this large box of squashy strawberries (that already has juice leaking into the bottom of the box) in my fridge for the next couple of months and will probably leak juice into my fridge. He then gave me a ref. no. which I wrote on the receipt and this morning I contacted Aldi through their FB page. I only recently joined FB in order to buy something otherwise I would never have been on it.

Some people say Lidl and Aldi fruit and veg is fine I’ve had the opposite experience I once heard a guy in front of me in Aldi say to the check out girl when she scanned his strawberries I hope they make it to the car before going off this time

I've not had an issue with Aldi fruit & veg since I started shopping there.
Years ago, I had several bad experiences with Lidl.
