BTW, have you gone to into the Folder properties and allowed access to Everyone. Found under the Security Tab0 -

One last query, I can't find his address book.
He used to use Windows Live Mail, but when MS stopped supporting it, he went to MS Office Outlook (2007) but he doesn't like that.
I've put Thunderbird on, so will see how that goes ...0 -
Why not try a linux operating system? Normally a lot more resource friendly on older/lower spec pc's and laptops. I use linux exclusively now, currently arcolinux b mate desktop.Live, Love, Craft!0

You'll need to know which application he was using and then ask Google to help you find for what you are looking.0
