I didn't say that, did I???EveryWhere wrote: »But we haven't yet seen any pics with the SSD in...
Info page = the same
System page = Drive 0: [CT500MX500SSD1-(S1)]
press enter ...
Drive 0: Enabled
Type: Hard Disk
Model: CT500MX500SSD1-(S1)
Capacity: 500GB SATA1
Boot page: different to before as I changed it to CD first, then HDD
EDIT - just tried to boot with the SSD in and it says
'media test failure - check cable'
'Operating system not found'
(which I suppose is obvious, coz I haven't loaded one!)0 -
Sorry, quick recap (for me)... you upgraded the BIOS to 1.16 and the pics you shared showed that and with the hard disk in its usual place. So why haven't you swapped the hard disk with SSD ...just to see if it is recognised in the BIOS (it hasn't been previously, unless connected via USB).If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0

My previous post #48 was with the new SSD in
I've just tried to install w10 from CD and it says
"Windows cannot be installed on this diak. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style"
