Rosie's walk done slowly but safely.
Washing folded and hung on the bathroom radiators to air.

How can I have lost a superking size duvet cover?

    Still on the bed?
    In a pile of washing?
    Blew off the line?
Fell off the shelf and is now hiding among the towels?
Got used as a painting cloth?

    The possibilities are endless! :rotfl:
Hope you find it soon (preferably clean!)
  • I am here, promise! Will catch up properly tomorrow xx

Nope, still haven't found it and I've searched everywhere. There is a slight possibility I'm wrong about having it, actually. I may only have one solid blue M&S superking duvet, and as we've got one on our bed .... Oops. Probably just as well I didn't do the Protect Study Re-assessments after all - they're about memory!

I've watered the grape hyacinths, thank goodness they're in the diary every week or they'd be deader than dead by now; done two loads of washing, one a boil wash; tumbled some stuff, the rest will line dry over night; gone for a short walk and photographed eight blocked street drains and the fly-tipping I used to notice walking Kelpie and reported them all the council. Some of them have been blocked for years, so if the council does what it says and deals with them within 48 hours - wouldn't that be marvellous?!

Sorry about your tumble. I hope you're feeling a bit better.
    Better is good enough.

Came home, made my tea (reheated campfire stew, with rice. Yum) and, while it was heating through watched Countdown (can whizz through adverts etc and focus on the words and letters) and put the ironing away. It's a pleasure to come home to a clean, tidy house...

Cold out there; old shower curtain draped over my windscreen. Keeps the ice off and doesn't stick!

No flying done here. Due to heavy snow overnight I went to work very early with OH (he has 4 wheel drive with wiinter tyres) and came home late as he had late meeting. Soup eaten for dinner, WM from yesterday poved to TD and now dry. DW loaded ready to go overnight. House is tidy as not been in long enough to make a mess

Hugs to all, another long day tomorrow I guess as it's snowing again

Below freezing here too. Freezing fog now developing. Heating back on and I'm back in bed with a coffee.

-4C here and a very pretty day. I've done some washing but not hung it out because it's colder than yesterday so it would definitely freeze and it's due to rain/snow later. So it's draped round the radiators. Again.

Bathroom and toilet fully cleaned and new toothbrushes out.

Hopefully might be going somewhere with DD2 this morning even if it's just round the shops for an hour or to soft play with DGD4. So I don't go stir crazy.

Hi guys. Hope you are all surviving this freezing weather?

    Not been on here for a few days, and boy the house is suffering. It’s incredible what reading all your lovely posts does to help motivation levels. And the helpful lists to work from, it’s amazing what a list/goal can achieve. So some catching up from me today, in no particular order;

Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces and wipe appliances
    Clear old items from fridge
    Wipe any dirty door fronts
    Clean hob
    Hoover bathroom and landing
    Clean bathroom sink
Empty bathroom bin and toilet roll tubes for recycling
    Disinfect bathroom bin

Think that will do for today, don’t want to list too much then feel bad if I don’t achieve it.

It’s very frosty here in Norfolk this morning, freezing fog still hanging about. Off to take DS to granny and grandads shortly for a bit, so hopefully the roads are not too bad...

    Catch you all later x
