  • I use a rubber windscreen thingy, and then use Mr Muscle shower spray! just spray it on after and leave, no scrubbing required, then once a week just give it a wash down with a bathroom cleaner...

my MIL makes everyone squeegee her shower after every shower.. it only takes seconds and keeps it clean..
  • I use Lakeland's spray on and leave cleaner. I spray it on about 5 mins before I take a shower and it gets rinsed off whilst showering. So easy!

car polish rubbed over your tiles (or white appliances) works very well - liquids just run off easily. I think i saw Anthea Turner recommend that.
  • Wipe the water off the tiles as soon as you're out; for left on limescale vinegar or lemon juice will shift them :D

As this has fallen from the fron page of OS, I'll ad it to the exisitng thread to give you more ideas.

    Still loving this thread!!
  • I use an exfoliating glove stuffed with left over pieces of soap - works brilliantly and the gloves are very cheap from £1 shops...and that way I use every piece of soap too! :p

    Hello

I am guessing there is a thread on here about this somewhere but I can't find it.

I have recently had a glass shower enclosure installed and the inside is getting all spotty and watermarked with what I imagine is a combination of the water and shampoos etc.

I have seen commercial products which you just squirt on after you've had a shower but am keen to avoid buying these if I can make it myself!

    Any ideas anyone, please?

    Many thanks

I have invested in a huge squeegy which I bought a Brick Lane market for a £5. Every time anyone showers they know to squeegy down the screeen and that's it no need to clean off stains. About once a month I give it a polish with windolene and remove any white marks with limescale remover....Train up your troops
I am sure if you look somwhere on moneysaving someone is doing something clever with vinegar or lemon juice

I think I have seen on here somewhere a while back that some people use diluted Stardrops in a spray bottle? Whilst I use that for almost all other cleaning jobs, I have to admit to only ever using Mr Muscle Shower Spray on my shower doors, and almost 4 years later it still looks as good as the day we installed it. HTH.
