I have a glass shower screen round my shower and i have tried nearly everything under the sun to clean the thing and nothing works!! does anyone have any suggestions to get it looking sparkly and clean, im currently using a mix of tea and lime juice! xCrafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0

Stardrops is brilliant! Try a mixture of one third stardrops, one third vinegar & one third water & it'll gleam. If you don't have any Stardrops try a good squirt of washing up liquid & the same again vinegar (about an inch all in) and top up with hot water. Spray it everywhere then wipe & rinse off then buff up with a dry cloth. HTH0

Stardrops works to get the grot off but to keep it clear between cleans I like using a shower spray. It's not particularly OS but I find a bottle lasts a couple of months, if I just give the doors a light spritz after showering. I like the method one but there's loads out there that are cheaper.0

I use my normal bathroom cleaner with a sponge scourer (the ones that you can use on pans so it won't scratch) to get all the gunk off if it has built up, then use glass cleaner...whatever you normally use... to make it sparkle. Once you've done the gunk removal bit a squirt of glass cleaner and a quick wipe once a week is then sufficient.0

Once you do get it sparkly clean try wiping it down after use either with a cloth or a squeege-window-cleaner-blade-thingy IYKWIM! Most of the marks come from the water drying on the glass especailly in hard water areas so if the water is removed glass stays clean longer!0

I also use Stardrops/white vinegar/water mix, with a microfibre cloth.
Wouldn't tea stain it?0 -

You can make your own shower-spray by mixing 1 part rubbing alcohol to 3 parts water. Just as with the commercial spray, you just spray it on after a shower, no need to rinse.
You can also keep shower doors looking crystal-clear by rubbing on a light layer of baby-oil after cleaning them - the effect lasts for ages.0 -
