Don’t think I actually put my reason why on here.
You have to have a reason why. Well I think so anyway.
Getting married next year and I don’t want to look like a fat frumpy middle aged marshmallow. My OH said even if I was this weight when we get married it’d be fine, I told him maybe but there would be no photos! So 3 stone this year then keep it off.0 -
Mornings All
Well today is my day off so I have some housework to do this morning and dinner to cook but that's about it so will try to squeeze in some knitting, two of my work colleagues are expecting babies this year so I must get on with that. I am also more of a walker, dh no longer drives but even together I rarely drive, I prefer public transport if I have long distances to travel, driving in the city is no fun, I have to remember to at least start my car twice a week as I've already had a flat battery this year from not using it. I would love to walk the amount of steps Rose Wood does, very inspirational. When the weather is nicer I will try to get out more.
Not sure about meals today although dinner will be burgers with wedges and hm coleslaw and corn on the cob.

Morning All,
Very inspiring reading everyone's posts, it motivates me to think about walking more and I also like to see what everyone else is eating! I like the meringue and Greek yog idea!
STS for me!
I'm a bit cheesed off but I have been reviewing MFP and see that the first week in Jan when I started my diet I ate approx. 1500-1600 cals per day and lost 2lbs lately I have been eating 1700-1800 per day (in the week- don't even start me on weekend 2400+ EKKK) So im going to try and get back down to 1500-1600 cals per day. I want to eat a realistic amount so I stick to the diet.
Also I think I need some new scales to weigh me (likely story eh?!) mine are digital but if I get on them 3 times they give me 3 different readings (on a flat tiled floor) OH says the same thing happens to him. Im thinking about getting some old fashioned dial scales.
What scales does everyone have to WI?O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -

We have digital on a tiled floor and have the same problem as you!
Let me know if the old fashioned type are any better0 -
I use digital too and get different reading each time, I now weigh in different spots and when I get the same reading twice I go with that!'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Morning
A 1lb loss for me (started 2 days ago here) but a 3lb loss this week. So put me down for 1lb, and will be better with a full week next week 😊0 -
Good afternoon all,
I went running this morning, or what passes for running in my world. It's been so long due to chest infections and Christmas that I thought I'd start couch to 5k from the beginning again. Week one, run one done. I eat better when I'm running too - I look at what will help me run better.
I have digital scales on tiles by the way and mine say the same thing no matter how many times I get on them and no matter how much I don't like what they tell me
fitandfreaky well done on this weeks loss. Keep at it - I looked like a fat gold cushion for my wedding and I really hate the photos.
SIRENS I started a baby cardigan last night. It's for my great nephew who is due in March.
Sue14 I'll add you to the list and welcome.
Take care all of you0 -

Seems Im not the only one with digital scale issues! So frustrating.
If I can pick up a cheap old fashioned one im going to give that a try.
Went to make a cuppa at work today- great big slab of chocolate brownie in the kitchen for everyone to share, I have to admit I have taken a piece home for later.
Our work kitchen has been a non stop treat zone lately with birthdays plus everyone trying to 'off load' there extra xmas treats!
Today:
B: HM warp, 2 boiled eggs
L: HM wrap tuna, sweet corn and mayo, orange
S: 1 wholemeal drop scone and maybe a packet of snaps (I love these luckily they only 70 cals)
T: Steak, sweet potato fries and salad
S: previously mentioned brownie and Id imagine a couple of glasses of wine
E: More housework *sigh*O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0
