katiepants wrote: »Hi everyone,
Feeling completely exhausted today. Think I'm overdoing it a bit. Had a day off yesterday and felt like I had to make the most of it. So it was a 16 mile bike ride, ride on my horse, 3 hrs gardening, a tip trip and 4 loads of laundry. This was on top of my existing daily chores at the stables. I've woken up this morning feeling like I've been run over by a bus...
.
WOW 'Superwomen' is too tame a word for the above. Take things easy today never mind the gym class. Horse riding - that's where I'm heading once I'm mobile and have lost some weight.
L;- no help today so will have to see what's in the fridge for DH and me, probably fruit and maybe cheese.- Found a frozen bought pasta meal lurking so that will do for tea followed by fruit
No snacks allowed,0 -
Thanks Dumpling. You're right, one pound on really isn't a great deal, just a bit discouraging after making all that effort
Been for a lovely 4 mile walk today, weather here is fantastic. I want to get out into the garden and put my mini greenhouse up, but hear there's a storm at the weekend so I think I'll leave it for now. It needs to be up soon though, as my kitchen windowsill is rather full of seedlings :rotfl:
Menu today
B Slice of danish toasted, black coffee
L Ham and pickle sandwich, banana
D Pork stir fry with peppers, onions, carrot, spinach, beansprouts, hoisin sauce, lo mini slice lime cheesecake
S Glass of red and 3 brazil nuts
E 4 mile walk (brisk)
Take care all.0 -
Thanks for adding me to the list Cranky and pleased to be off the starting blocks
. I have had a lovely weekend away and tried to make good food choices but not that easy with buffets, birthday cakes and meals out in restaurants. I got on the scale this morning though and am still weighing the same as I was on Friday so hopefully I won't gain this week.
Gorgeous weather and I did 15k steps this morning walking down to the waterside in my town and around the gorgeous riverside to see the boats and water glistening in the sunshine. Starving though and have snacked way too much but tried to keep to healthy stuff.
Breakfast was porridge and an orange.
Lunch was wholemeal toast, lean bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes
Snacks so far are a handful of unsalted nuts and dried fruit, banana and apple
Dinner will be tuna and baked potato with salad and greek yogurt for pudding.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I've had another lovely day today. I even ended up in a sleeveless vest top playing tennis as it was so warm. I had an early morning walk (2 miles) followed by Pilates and coffee with my friends and then played tennis with DS. He then came back for lunch and a chat. This afternoon I read and did some sewing whilst I listened to a podcast. I'm finishing off my sewing now and then going to watch The Great British Sewing Bee.
Lunch: Homemade butternut squash soup.
Dinner: Minced beef with mushrooms, broccoli and sprouts. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Treats: 2 pieces of Toblerone. Half a small bar of dark chocolate.Weight Loss Challenge 5/7/19 10st 6lbs

Its very quiet on here today!
I had a rare lie in this morning. I was awake but decided to stay in bed reading. After that, DH and I went for brunch followed by a walk. I played tennis this afternoon and it was so warm we all sat outside afterwards in the sunshine in short sleeves drinking coffee and chatting.
Tonight I am collecting DGD from Brownies plus her little friend who we will walk home. She's staying the night so will have the school run in the morning plus a packed lunch to sort. So plenty of steps today and tomorrow.
Brunch: Bacon and eggs with mushrooms and tomato
Dinner: Pork steak with peppers, leeks, peas and mushrooms
Treats: Half a small bar of dark chocolate. Mixed roasted chilli nuts and chickpeas. 2 spoonfuls of cream cheese.

Weigh in day today and pleased to report a 3 lb loss. Been very good the last few days, no bingeing, although felt tempted and have lost the weight I put on whilst OH was away. So, I'm not sure if it counts as a loss as I'm still 1 lb heavier than when I started the challenge.
Did 2 hours of aerobics today and feeling it in my legs. Should sleep well tonight.#77 Make 2019 in 2019 £164.04 / £2019

Can you record a +1lbgain please Cranky I will admit to being disappointed with the gain as I didn't expect it, my sister assured me there was nothing wrong with the scales unfortunately
. I'm going to write a food diary this week as I don't think it's my 3 meals a day which has caused the problem but the between meal stuff which I lose track of. I walked a lot more this week getting in a lunchtime walk every day plus 8 miles on Saturday so I need to try and keep that up this week even through the weather is forecast to rain
Lunch today should have been my HM soup but I didn't fancy it today so ended up as a small quiche and salad. Dinner was jerk chicken with dirty rice and runner beans

Hi all. Sorry for going awol - I have been on a time or two but not posted. Had an awful week last week - as I posted about all the treats in the office, I then ate my body weight in biscuits. So I almost joined the +3 club twice by the time it came to weigh in day which is why I was hiding. I’ve been back on it this week, and am pleased to see it is dropping again. And it’s ‘that time’ too so I can always allow 2lbs for that. I will weigh in on Friday and hopefully it will balance as sts or hopefully a loss. Yesterday was my business partner’s birthday and there was cake. It wasn’t very nice cake, and while normally I’d have eaten it anyway (I too have binge eating disorder) I was very proud of myself for only having a tiny sliver.
Today’s meals (and this week)
B - berries and fat free Greek style yoghurt
L - salad, ham and hard boiled eggs
Snack - a tiny bit of cake.
Tomorrow it will be salmon instead of ham. Can’t wait 😊0 -
Five days of being really good. Sneaked in one piece of cake yesterday but that's all. Otherwise I have stuck to my calorie count and done plenty of exercise. Yesterday I swam 36 lengths of the pool, dug the veg patch and planted bushes, walked nearly 20,000 steps.
However, I'm really starting to waiver. Woken up feeling a bit tired and sniffly. Just want to eat a big pile of toast but have sworn myself to yoghurt and citrus fruits. I'm at yoga this morning so that should help distract me but this afternoon I have nothing on and I'm already worried I'll fall off the wagon. I have some sewing to do but I'm not feeling very enthusiastic about it. Making cushion covers out of old sofa covers for my sister. Heavy material and difficult to cut straight.
I'll put my weigh in off until tomorrow so it might help me focus. Just not feeling it today.
Good luck to you all. I hope the day is a success for you.0
