Hi all,
Everyone is doing a great job and giving things their best shot which is all we can do :T
I read something on FB the other day went something like this;
"Im trying to save money but I got to the end of the week and realised I hadn't saved as much as id hoped so I burnt all my money and im going to start again tomorrow. This is what we are tempted to do if we have a bad meal or a bad day, don't ruin all your previous efforts (burn your money) keep going"
Ive been awake since half 4 this morning! OH had to be a work really early but had a problem with his car, needless to say im shattered!
Today:
B: Boiled egg, muesli, Greek yog couple tinned peach slices
L: Chicken drummer, 1/2 chicken breast and LO roasted veg
S: I have a banana, orange, peanut butter ball and a rice cake in my draw so 1 or 2 of these
T: Hmmmmmm should be having salmon rice and veg- not really feeling it so ill see
E: Housework
Have been weighing myself everyday this week and fingers crossed I should be able to report a loss tomorrow (please please please!!)O/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
Hello,
Can I (re)join this thread please. I did really well last spring and lost a stone and a half. It all went back on in the summer/autumn, and I made the typical new years resolution of losing weight. Well I've failed spectacularly as I am 3 lbs heavier today than I was on New Years Day...
Time to start again. Again.
Oh dear.
I'm aiming to lose 10lbs in feb. I get loads of exercise, and have healthy meals, it's just my consumption of junk that needs to stop. If I'm completely honest, and I probably should be, I binge eat. This has got to stop but sometimes I feel completely out of control. Then I feel guilty and the vicious circle starts all over again.Sealed pot challenge 11: number 5940 -
Hello everybody, is it ok if I join in this too?
I was losing weight prior to Xmas then fell off the rails. I was 119kgs last Autumn, dropped to 113kgs mid december, a health check last week saw me at 117kgs, which my own scales had shown a few days earlier so I know they're accurate and I'll go with that as my start weight. My aim is 2lbs/1kg a week.0 -
Afternoon everyone.
Minus two here all day so everything is white, although the pavements and paths aren't slippy as they were yesterday. I've already surpassed my step target for today and may well do a few more thousand before the day is out. I've got DGD staying overnight and may walk up to fetch her and walk her back to me rather than wait for her to be dropped off.
I had a good walk this morning, four and a half miles, and then a quick dash round a neighbouring town this afternoon as DH had to do some stuff there and dropped me off for a quick look round the shops.
Lunch: Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, avocado, spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes and cucumber.
Dinner: Sole with peas, mushrooms and maybe half a jacket potato with butter.
Treats: 4 squares of dark chocolate.
Hope everyone is keeping warm and safe.

Hi everybody
Bit late with my update, but I've had a busy few days, and with my oh away during the week, and my 8 month old to take care of, it's hard enough keeping things just ticking over.
Anyway, without knowing how I've done it I've lost 2.5 lbs[/COLOR] this week. It'll probably go back on next week!
Maybe just being conscious that I've signed up for this is making me reduce my intake? I guess I have been a little more active, as I've made more of an effort to take the dog for longer walks (dodgy back sometimes prevents this).
My lb has decided to start waking in the early hours for a feed too, when he generally sleeps through, so that could be contributing...
My oh isn't home this weekend, so my mum is coming to visit to allow me to get on with a few jobs. She's dieting too, so I should theoretically be able to stick to it more, although she often sees a visit as an opportunity to have a few days off plan! We shall see...Trying to regain my pre-baby, pre-back surgery figure!0 -
Not sure what's going on with the text colour thingy, but typing this on my smartphone at half five in the morning doesn't help?!
Anyone know how I can subscribe to this thread, btw? I can't see the option to do so...Trying to regain my pre-baby, pre-back surgery figure!0 -
Morning you lovely lot ❤️
Thank you so much for all the postings which I read each morning and which have been such an inspiration this week. So many great tips and sharing stories which have kept me motivated and on track (ish!).
1.5lb loss to report. Mainly achieved through being mindful of what I was eating and moving a bit.
I try to eat within a 10 hour window and where possible no later than 6pm. I can’t face breakfast first thing and so brunch and early dinner works well most days. I try to do a bit of exercise in the morning before eating, otherwise it doesn’t happen. I love crisps and have found that roasting a bag of kale drizzled with a bit of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt is a good alternative. Just need to tackle the red wine intake now!
Enjoy your weekend and have a good week ahead and thanks so much for your online company and support.0 -

Another one here joining the 1lb loss club
. I am happy with that as it is the first week I have had a normal result. I am off to celebrate with a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea.

Morning everyone! Sorry I’ve not been around much. My eldest has been off school with a rotten cold and was well enough to go back today, but school’s closed due to the snow. And we moved the toddler from his cot into a bed at the weekend, have had a couple of good nights and a fair bit of refusing to stay in bed at 4am. Pass the coffee!
-2lbs to report.
Meals for today -
B: porridge (& coffee!)
L: homemade veg soup, maybe a sandwich, some fruitchicken pie, mash & veg
Pud: Skyr yoghurt with muesli0
