I do not have the PCN I only have the one from ZZPS

Send a data request to the parking firm, not ZZPS, for a copy of the PCN.

    Is it Horizon?

Just Google them plus the word privacy and you will find their contact details for a SAR (data request). Do that email right now and attach ID, such as your log book proving the car is yours.

Head it up 'SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST'.

You should have the PCN back by email, by early next week.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Please do kindly provide a copy of the PCN notice received, along with any subsequent correspondence and I will be happy to investigate this further.

Once again please accept my apologies for the inconvenience this matter has caused. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0207 695 8900.

The ZZPS letter is fine, You have already told the CEO that you
thought this was a scam so no reason to keep the PCN

The ZZPS letter will prove to Sainsbury's of the scam operating

As coupon-mad says above, SAR them for the PCN but guess the ZZPS
    rubbish letter gives the info
  • Thank you all for your help. I looked at the signage at the place and it says it’s run by starpark. I googled them and it’s not very clear to determine whether or not it’s the same car parking company. And they have no contact number on there as well. So I guess I will send the ZZPS letter as a response. I will await your responses before sending this in case anyone knows who starpark is and I can request the original PCN. Thank you all once again. I really appreciate

Send the sar to star park.
    They are the data controller
There'll be an email or contact somewhere.

Maybe they are using one of their other trading names, see this link.
  • I found this email for star park. Should I write to them saying I am writing to request the PCN sent to me (I don’t remember the dates) if they could send it to by email.

Do as advised in post # 25. Look in the NEWBIE faq's (post #2)for advice on what to ask for in a SAR and a link to the legal beagle's web site where you will find a template for SAR. Ask only for data relating to you, which should include all and any PCNs recently issued (or you could give a date range).

You just Google a company plus the word privacy to find where to send a SAR.

  • Hi everyone thank you so much for all your help. Can I write it this way? I am unable to find the newbie section as I’m very new to this forum.
    Dear Star park management,

I am writing to request a SAR on the car registration (xxx). I would like all correspondence regarding this vehicle sent to me by email.

    Regards

Link to NEWBIE section. Don't know why it is so hard to find, if you clicked on NEW THREAD button, you must have been or are now able to see it.

A SAR is free. Ask for (as a minimum):

    - ALL photos taken
    - a close up of the signs on the day in question
    - evidence that they have paid a debt collector, if they are trying to add £60 per PCN (they can't do that but will if YOU let them)
    - all letters/emails sent and received, including any appeal correspondence earlier
    - if the car park was Pay and Display, ALWAYS ALWAYS ask for a PDT machine record from that day, of payments made (VRNs can be partially redacted but insist on getting this and follow it up if they refuse). You want the PDT machine record if it;s an PDT machine car park.
    - all data held, all evidence they will rely on, and a full copy of the PCN, NTK
    - and a list of all PCNs they consider are outstanding against you and/or this VRN, and remind them that any claim must be for all PCNs in one claim, not several separate claims.
