I Recieved a letter from ZZPS please Help.

Hello.

I recieved a parking ticket for parking in a small sainsburies car park twice and I ignored it. I was only in and out I don’t even think it was up to 10mins. I sent the letter back as not known at this address as that was the advise I got at the time. No a letter have arrived a week ago from ZZPS which I have ignored so far. But im getting worried in case it goes to court and I have to pay more. It is currently at £170. I just don’t see how this is justifiable to pay £170 for going to get £3 pounds milk twice. Can someone please help me out as to what to do at this stage. All advise will be appreciated. I just can’t afford to pay that much money at all.
Thank you
T.

    Who is the PPC?

You parked, length of time does not come into it, however, if it comes to court your best bet is Grace Periods. Look it up by asking Auntie Google.

What were you thinking? This could look very bad if they were to take you to court.

Have you read the stickies/FAQs? If not that is the first thing you should do. You can ignore letters from debt collectors but not from The Court Service, or solicitors' letters before action.

You have become involved in a scam, and you choice is either pay it or fight it. If you decide to fight it is complex and you will have to do a lot of research.

You have attempted to deceive the PPC and there no magic ointment to make it go away..
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

  • I haven’t received a letter from the court. I received a letter from Zzps and the parking ticket itself is what I ignored. Was that a mistake?

yes it was a mistake, you should have appealed it, plus you should have complained to Sainsburys and got it cancelled as well (and still should make a complaint)

at the ZZPS stage there is nothing to do but IGNORE them

you could send a SAR to the DPO at the parking company and get all their data on you, so that you have what you need if it proceeds to the next stages (LBC and then MCOL)

which PPC issued the pcn ?
