Ah that would explain it, the "Exclusive" Fix Online tariffs have different version numbers to the Fix Online tariffs you sign up to directly on the E.on website. The terms were same though as far as I'm aware.0 -

It's bad. My father has already decided he's leaving E.on in July due to the volume of letters he's getting despite having not agreed to a smart meter. "What a waste of money and paper" - his words.
I'll be doing the same.1 -
I have been with eon 1 month now and just got my expected text message, asking me to name a day and time to have my agreed smets2 meter installed.
Of course this is not true as i only agreed to be contacted as in the T&CS. I will reply or just ignore as i dont want one fitted.
Hello SeeMe and from past posts I believe you're on a Fix Online or Fix Online Exclusive tariff which was available during November/December last year.
If this is right, you'll have agreed only to be contacted about smart meters. As you don't want these meters please ignore the contact you've received. You only need to respond if you want the meters installing.
Hope this explains SeeMe.

This was available for sale to new customers only between 6-29 December 19. This is different from Fix Online v21 which was withdrawn from sale on 10 July 19.Both tariffs have the same clause in their T&Cs (11.1) which says as follows.With this tariff you agree to be contacted during the tariff term for the installation of a smart meter.Happy to confirm, with this tariff, you've only agreed to be contacted about smart meters. These offers can be turned down and you'll be able to stay on the tariff for the duration of the agreement.Totally understand the frustration of repeated contact about smart meters. I've been sending posts about this contact to those responsible. As I mentioned above to oliverbrown, this has led to a review into both the frequency and content of this contact. More details will be available once the review has been completed. I've added your comments to this feedback.Hope this explains grimble37 and thank you for the feedback.
