All automatic doors have a feature called rebound, they are tested and certified by an engineer and maintained periodically. When they hit an obstruction they re-open. Its a slight squash before they do, but if you believe the door caused a serious injury it must have a fault and I guess legal action will uncover the truth.

Automatic door claims get sent to companies regularly and they have documents and test results to defend them. I have reviewed cctv after a complaint and seen an elderly person too slow to get through in time and the doors shut on them, result? No injury, an angry call from a relative with various "what if" scenarios demanding compensation. Probably worth a £10 gift card or £250 from You've been framed.

You know, it is possible to enjoy a holiday without drinking. If you feel the need to be drinking to enjoy yourself you have bigger problems than a sore arm. I’d be seeking advice on that before worrying about a bruise.

Thank you for your informed reply, did the doors in question come with a user operating manual and a tick box or signature required before using the automatic doors, to say the user manual had been read and understood ?

It's paracetamol. The stuff you can buy over the counter not some class A drug.

The NHS actually says you can drink the normal recommend daily allowance. https://www.nhs.uk/common-health-questions/medicines/can-i-drink-alcohol-if-i-am-taking-painkillers/

If you are drinking more than this then it's likely that alcohol is the problem not the medication.

Do you make a habit of drinking excessively?

Please see my original post with regards to my general alcohol consumption.

I note that the NHS website states "It is usually safe to drink a moderate amount of alcohol"

I have been prescribed paracetamol tablets and a Ibufoen cream, both to be used at the same time.

The word "usually" does not imply that it is the best course of action to consume any alcohol and can you define moderate ?

In that link it clearly says "No more than the daily guidelines".

If you are worried that you can't drink as much as you want and being told you can have up to the daily guidelines are you sure you don't need to re-evaluate your relationship with alcohol?

Then be sensible and you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
