Total Rewards was rebranded as Caesars Rewards recently.
Here are the benefits of the various tier levels:-

We have 4 nights Mlife at the start of the trip, so plan is to:
Tier Match Wifeys Mlife Platinum with a newly created TR account to get Diamond on the 1st day of our trip......
The theory is: We check in at C Palace, add her to the booking, maybe get Resort Fee's wavied as she will be diamond, and am assuming Diamond gets you free parking too ??
Do-able ?
I am not sure if this will work. Usually you get resort fees waived at Caesars properties if you (the person who booked the room) have Diamond or higher at time of check-in. My advice: Check-in at Caesars and show them the Diamond card of your wife, perhaps they will honor it ... but I doubt it.
And yes, Diamond get you free parking, self and valet.0 -
peeps over at the VMB, said do the above, but tier match her Platinum Mlife card as soon as we get to Vegas, offers should show up straight away, and re-book the 3 night room on her account which will cover the R Fee's and Parking charges! (we get to Vegas on 24th May, don't need C Palace until 28th )
I guess worst case scenario, we check in to C Palace, use her newly aqquired diamond card for the parking, and I rely on winning so I can get any fee's/charged waived like normal
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet !
Biggest hurdle at the mo is hire cars, never seen the pricing so high before !0 -
Thinking of heading off Strip on our April trip, which we never really do.
Have been intrigued by these places in the past, are any worth a visit?
South Point casino
Red Rock casino
Chinatown
Any other places you'd recommend for a visit and a wander around, for something to do?0 -

I particularly like South Point, the rooms are large but the standard room may be a little dated now. Nice pool area and casino area. A few restaurants catering for different budgets.
Red Rock is a resort I have heard a lot of positive things about and is on my list for a future stay. You have Red Rock Canyon within a short drive plus the Summerlin shopping complex is within walking distance.
Cannot comment on Chinatown other than from what I understand it is not far from the strip, is it on Saraha? Not sure what big hotels or other attractions are nearby.
A couple of other suggestions, have you visited Mt Charleston or Lake Las Vegas areas? We have stayed at the Westin Lake Las Vegas a couple of times and although out of the way we enjoyed our stay there just chilling.
More thought for you0 -
Thanks for the heads up Stevie11, never knew about the mall at Downtown Summerlin, looks really nice! Looks similar to the North Premium outlets.
I can see that being a nice afternoon heading over there and taking Red Rock casino too.0 -
we got delayed by Virgin and were put up in the South Point. I thought it was an absolute 5h1thole. I also thought the atmosphere was very "on edge" with a lot of aggressive drunks. Wouldn't step foot in the place again.
YMMV.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

The mall is probably more like the Town Square complex on the strip. They are regular shops rather than outlet. Summerlin shopping complex although modern reminds me of how British town centres used to be before pedestrianisation and shops being closed down.0 -
Some ideas, if you have a car:
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Nevada 23 miles
Hoover Dam, Arizona/Nevada 32 miles
Mount Charleston, Nevada 43 miles
Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada 56 miles
Zion National Park, Utah 164 miles"Such an enormous country, you realize when you cross it" - Jack Kerouac0 -
