What is LBA.
The Court guidance about procedure makes no mention of any such requirement
LBA is a 'Letter Before Action'. It just means sending a letter (recorded delivery) giving them the chance to resolve the issue before taking it to court (or even a solicitor although they could do it for you). State exactly what the problem is and what you expect as an outcome and include all necessary details so they have no excuse for more delay.
The courts do not like being messed about by either side.0 -
So how is an email less valid than a letter?
Do you want me to apologise for asking them to pay up? Keep this going and Quick Mobile might want your skills on their Customer Service team?0 -

If this is the company, it makes interesting reading
Shows the company is owned by Mr. Chinedu ‘Ken’ Emechebe from Nigeria.
He was previously listed as one of the biggest sellers of phone accessories on eBay.Nigerian eTailer Tops eBay UK Rich List. Makes Billions of Naira Yearly
An unprecedented list of the richest sellers on eBay in the UK was recently published and, more interestingly, a Nigerian tops the list.
According to the report, there are over 200,000 UK businesses selling on eBay.co.uk, plus millions of private sellers, generating an estimated £6 billion of sales in the UK every year. On average, individual sellers on eBay UK reportedly make an average of nearly £4 million a year. But Mr. Chinedu ‘Ken’ Emechebe, a 37 year-old father of 2, is definitely above that average.
ITV UK reports that Emechebe has an annual turnover of £15 million selling mobile phone accessories with username universalgadgets01 on eBay.co.uk. For some perspective, at non-black market conversion rates, that amounts to about N4.6 billion a year.

They're unlikely to want you in their legal department. You miss the point entirely - because you haven't done basic research and have a cause without a method.0 -
Hi
To my shame, I have done exactly what you did...bought the ohone, waited and waited some more, then read the reviews! Totally the wrong way round and something I wouldn't normally have done - pretty annoyed with myself.
As I type I am currently on hold to this joke of a company for the second time...1 hour and 22 minutes holding at the moment. I have sent an email cancelling my order which has never arrived and demanding a refund.
Did you get your refund? What happened? Looking for advice as to what to do about my stupid mistake:(

I've done exactly the same thing. Phone didn't arrive in time for daughter trip so now I want to cancel. Should I just send an email to customer support? I did read some reviews but unfortunately not on this forum!0

I have run a facebook group devoted to this company for 2+ years it currently has 460 members. I wouldn't (dare) say they are out and out scammers, but at the very least they have very poor practices. For people looking for practical advice from other customers with similar issues you can check it out here:-

Just last week QMF launched there own facebook group for "support and queries" whilst queries via phone, email and twitter generally receive generic responses that are clearly a delaying tactic, customers that post on this page seem to get a faster resolution. So if you have an outstanding issue I would encourage you to post a query here:-
