Yesterday wasn't too bad, except trying to get DS to get up and yes I have told him he needs to see a doctor. Finding him standing on the doorstep crying is not a normal thing.
As I am depressed, I can see the signs. It doesn't matter if he has everything or nothing, it doesn't care, and he knows that he is fighting a loosing battle with our situation.where I have been working on my own mental health, my inner self, during 2019, I think that 2020 is going to be a year where I try to show Dgd, DS, Biggest and my best friends, that taking time for self reflection, self belief, and knowing what exactly triggers them is possibly going to be my goal for the next year.
2020 is not going to be about building up my business, 2020 is going to be about helping us all to find that inner self worth, that confidence in ourselves and our abilities and love.
Nurturing self esteem, confidence and the ability to believe that they,we, can have a positive impact moving forward.
To deal with the problems but to try to see them from different angles.
I want to establish some self confidence in them all.
I did some sewing between 9.15 and 1.45.
After lunch I did some housework and washing etc, and at 3.30 I went shopping for a few bits for us and my Mum. Then I spent the evening watching things with Dgd.
DS was at work so I did the bedtime routine and for once it was a straight forward one. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Ss, I'm sorry that you and your son are both feeling so low
I think the best way of teaching the family about self-care, self-esteem etc is by example. 'Do as I do' always carries more weight than 'do as I say'It's not difficult!

Doing odds and sods jobs today. Don't know where the day went. Terribly wet and soggy underfoot.
Mending moth holes is my second least favourite job. The first is zips in jackets.
Smallest of my lot was not going to sleep if he could help it tonight. It took till 9.45 to win the battle of the bed. My left side is struggling with putting him back in, it didn't help that I got up with a bout of sciatica this morning. The rain doesn't do my hands many favours and I used my arthritis gloves yesterday and today for the first time this winter.
Tomorrow is the last day of school, and my last opportunity to do any sewing without the family around.
I have to go and see my Mum as she's worried about her washing machine, and wants to get a different one sorted. So a visit to AO.com I think.
The evening is planned for wrapping up the gifts etc, checking my list and making sure I have something for everyone.
But for now, it is bedtime for this old rooster. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Hope you don't have lots of sewing still to do.
The only sewing that I have now left to do are big make jobs that the customers are ok about waiting for till after Christmas.
However to occasionally escape into my workshop could be on my agenda for some peace and quiet. But don't tell the family.
Not my best night, and I feel rather jaded this morning. Baby is up, but have to get the two for school up now.
DS was at some Christmas function with gf, and so stayed there last night.
At least I know that the routine is up to me this morning.
I have got this.

Everyone to school ( in two different directions) on time. Breakfast etc all went smoothly, no drama from the usual suspects.
Quick visit to my friends as I parked on her drive.
Big Life Journals for her Son and a Biggest stepdaughter arrived.
Two customers been to collect their things.
Not a bad start to a wet and miserable day.
Just want to know when DS is coming home so I can arrange to go to my Mum.
I don't want to take the wee one with me as he is into everything and I have visions of him demolishing Mums house like a whirling Tasmanian's devil.
I need to change the lads bed as he had another accident in the night.
Ah, please can I take wee one to him .
As I am going that way, yes I can do that.
Right at least I don't have to hang around here.
