I managed one alteration today!
Now I am the school run. So it's starting to rain of course.
I am going to have to push myself a bit more if I actually want to get anything done these days.
I really seem to be so much slower than I used to be.

Yes, I've been particularly slow for the past couple of days too. I was late into the pool for aquagym yesterday (and I sometimes have 10 minutes or more to spare) despite getting up at the same time as usual.

Eek look at the time!
I nodded of watching something.
But I just wanted to tell you that I managed a great day of sewing.
I was able to replace the lining in the sleeves of a coat.
Take in a coat on the side seam and lengthen the sleeves.
Shorten an evening dress. Shorten some culottes. Put a zip in a dress. cut out the parts for a man's jacket.
Worked until 5.30
Result.

Glad you managed to achieve so much yesterday . Think you'll have to take the wins when you can while other stuff is happening.


I hope today was less stressful and you soon have a better idea when things will be sorted.


We've been without the internet until a short while ago.Sky down today. We were transferred when O2 sold and I'm fed up with outages. There was a lot I needed the internet for today so behind on a lot of things.


Think I need to join the Snails. I dragged myself to the coop earlier through a combination of frozen pavement and lots of slippy leaves. Fit for nowt now!


Hope eveyone has a peaceful night. Out tomorrow and the forecast doesn't look good. Sky will be doing maintaince in the early hours so hopefully that will fix things for a while.


Sleep tight all. If only we could hibernate.

You take care too beanie. I hope once you get used to it the lamp helps lift those dark and dreary days.



DD has now missed 4 weekly immune suppressants as Dr has to keep prescribing another oral steroid which means no Methotrexate. I'm tired of visiting the pharmacy chasing the missing anti viral. No uk pharmacy can get it at the moment, Dr has tried with no joy. A single taxi journey to town costs £10 and the same back. Med has been unavailable since 11th Oct so far I've spent £120 on fares and I'm not happy. There isn't another one as powerful.


Good news is the young girl is finally sorted after the pharmacy manager overheard me yet again asking her to focus on the med not services.Manager leaned on the edge of the counter rolling her eyes at me. The most recent visit the young girl stuck to the point and couldn't have been nicer. The manager is really good so I reckon words were said.
