It's good to see you Polly, I'm glad you are OK.
Beanie, this is the lamp I bought, although they start at around £20 (and go up to 10x that!) - https://www.sad.co.uk/SAD-Solutions-Mini-DAYlight-SAD-Light/35557sdmp.htm?colour=White&sku=277381&productid=78033&gclid=CjwKCAjwxt_tBRAXEiwAENY8hZ0Es2e0ZmFG0DMwrpZ80mIsWgkvPDvci53kImRS7MIrOkoKCcbQdRoCxK4QAvD_BwEIt's not difficult!

Can I please ask if you dont mind~~ was your sad light expensive? Do you think it was worth it? Thanks.
My lamp was quiet expensive it was about £140 but I have had it for about 8 maybe more years.
Mine is a Philips.
I find it really helps me, and I start to see a difference when I use it.
I probably should have started to sit with it on a few weeks ago when the days started to draw in. Then I probably would have avoided the deep dive I just took.
The medical went fine. My doctor talked to me about what I am doing and why etc and I was honest with her. I have good and bad days.
She asked me what my heart said. To go with my heart.
I felt so much better after I had talked with her.
We think my current problem with the arm is lifting the boys. Nothing more sinister.
I managed to sew a few more jobs today. Got paid for the last big job and was able to pay cash into the business account.
I also paid for the 5 day caravan break in Kent at Easter, when we go to see Twin1 and her family.
So I am getting back on track again thankfully. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Another early night.
Been reading and a little bit of studying in my room and left the family to sort themselves out.
Monday's meetings that were cancelled are pencilled in for tomorrow. Wonder if they actually happen? When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hope the meetings go ahead tomorrow and you sleep tonight.
Lost 2 posts earlier so will try again tomorrow.
Thank you hb2 for the link to the SAD lamp. It's got good reviews and if you're happy I'm sure it's worth a try.
Sleep tight all , it may be cold but at least the bloomin' rain has gone!

I think that they are well worth trying, they are certainly much cheaper now than when I first got mine.
I did get quite a bit of sleep although DGD came in a few times. She was not very settled.
I have been up about an hour with small people. I did think about waking DS but he was very tired yesterday so we're sitting quietly with Paw Patrol on Netflix.
Although I don't think they will stay very quiet for long.
I will have my session with the lamp in a little while.
It's a bit early to switch on the heating in my workshop.
I will have a read of my emails and then maybe a book if I am lucky enough.
