Time sitting quietly sounds ideal and well deserved.

I had an hour of self indulgence until customers at 1 and 1.30. Then I sewed and organised things ready for my time in the cabin today.
I have some books on order about tailoring men's wear, which were delivered when I was out, so are in dS's car as he was on his way to work, so I am itching to get hold of them this morning.
I even got two hours peace after the children were all asleep.
I am trying to teach the little ones to play quietly in their room first thing so they don't go down stairs and disturb their Daddy too early.
    Slowly things are improving.
I am calmer now than I was a few weeks ago.
All I need now is to get my budget back on track.

Customer at 9.30 this morning so I better remember to be dressed and not in my dressing gown!!
Working from home is more a slow potter into the working day after the school rush etc.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

You don`t think your granddaughter could possibly suffer from Dyspraxia do you??? I only ask, because amongst the myriad of health conditions my granddaughter has she suffers with Dyspraxia. She is very clumsy and often after a while walking she`ll all of a sudden trip, its as if her legs give way. She had to have two teeth taken out as she fell badly and cracked them. I`m sure you gd dosen`t have it to the extent of my gd as she now has to have a wheelchair. However you can get dyspraxia at different levels, its just a thought. Does her mum suffer with movement and processing difficulties....

Well I've been MIA again , too much to do and too little time. Things sound more settled reading your posts and the calmer feel comes through. I know we nagged you to slow down and rest but it was meant well before you ended up in an exhausted heap!

I'm pleased you've had help around the house and can enjoy your space. Every bag of stuff that goes is less weight on your mind. So one at a time soon adds up. Hope you're warm enough in the cabin . It went dark here just before 7 tonight so although you're further south don't forget the sad lamp.

Hope the joints and muscles are ok. We've had days of rain of biblical proportions here on the coast. I had to dig out the wellies early this morning to wade up the drive through flood water with the dustbin. Now feel like the Tin Man in the wizard of oz seized up and creaky. In the abscence of a large oil can Voltarol will have to do.

Thoughts to our friends here. I hope you've got your ramp beanie and it's all systems go- weather permitting.
    Take care all

    Glad you have the ramp.
Not so good in the joints department here either.
Small of my back aches and like you Pollyanna I feel like I am the tin man needing Oil too.

Just bobbing along with the usual trials and tribulations that I cannot discuss.
I am not getting my sewing done as much as I would like.
I agree it's time to get my SAd lamp out!

My assessments will be starting soon, the paperwork has arrived.
So I think I will be digging up my old diaries and seeing if I had my notes in them from the SGO 10 years ago!

Today I will plod. I need to get my glasses from the opticians as they were broken a couple of weeks ago from a enthusiast child!

Hope everyone gets their aches and pains sorted.

Just had a read back. Although you aren't able to take up the menswear work at the moment it doesn't mean there wont come a time when things are sorted to follow the more creative side of your work. An aim for the future? Hope the books arrived and you're planning for that time.

Fingers are crossed you'll find the notes from 10 years ago. I often ponder whether to clear out a lot of the paperwork and diaries in files and boxes but a search through has been a real game changer at times. 3 reports from different consultants nearly 20 yrs ago meant dd finally got her mh diagnosis last year. That was from our GP accessing all dds notes and reports over the years It fills a large box but well worth it.

Re the path to the cabin. No idea how long it would need to be but would reclaimed paving slabs do for now? The free newspaper here always has two or three ads from those who collect used ones and sell them cheaply.Delivery costs are low as they're local. Concrete ones are much cheaper than stone but may do until you're more certain of future finances. Might also be worth going on local FB, Freecycle etc as people are always looking to rehome things. Transport may be an issue but you may find someone with a van prepared to deliver at low cost.

Hope you and beanie are more comfortable today. it's not good weather for any of us at the moment. The wild geese that come from Russia to overwinter here are arriving and although I've told them it's barely autumn they aren't listening.

Is your gp able to offer any solutions to the spasms beanie? It's not an easy thing to deal with and I'm sending positive vibes to you now I've lit my healing lavender candle.

Sorry for the long post Long day ahead tomorrow so an early Happy Birthday to your dgd , hope the plaster is off this week and she has a lovely day tomorrow. :bdaycake:pollyx

pollyanna~~Nothing really further that the GP can offer. It is part & parcel of my main condition.
I go for private physio every week, have accapuncture on occasion & try to do chair yoga once or twice a week.
    I take muscle relaxants.
    Any other suggestions welcome :)
Thank you so much pollyanna for thinking of me :)
