I do miss your posts, I think it's the voyeur in me that enjoys seeing the mundane things other people do in their day to day lives. I was never one for all the gossip or drama but it gave me a bit of a warm glow hearing about how well the shop was doing and your escapades to Portugal...it helped me to dream a little.
Don't give up dreams it's good for the soul.
I may have to delay my Portugal dreams and escapades at the moment but I have not shelved them. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I went to see the dramatic version of Shirley Valentine on stage last night and thought of you!

I have also been a lurker from the very beginings of Mooloo`s musings. To some extent I do agree with some of the posts, I do think your DS needs to really get his head straight. He is a parent and relies way too much on you. However I think that Mooloo is a determined strong person and I know I would take on my childrens children. I have a disabled granddaughter, having given up my job to help my daughter I am fully aware of the fight and struggle it is bringing up any child, a child that is disabled makes that fight a lot harder.
I do hope that you continue with your business Mooloo, you are very talented and its something you enjoy. Our children can sometimes disapoint us mooloo but like everyone they do make their choices and I feel it is a valuble lesson that they learn to live with those choices. My concern for you is if your son (who is in a new relationship) finds himself a father again. His actions suggest he was not ready for parenthood and had two children very quickly with his girlfriend. I think he needs to learn some responsiblity. We love our children so much, its incredibly difficult. You have had no support off your ex, he has never seemed to be there as a role model for your son or any of your children. I think on this thread you somtimes get the brunt of peoples adverse opinions. Whilst I do find myself agreeing with people, I do believe you are a truly remarkable caring mother and I wish you the very best ...... Wendy xx0 -
I am finding it difficult to not update and post regularly.
It's difficult to fit in my work and domestic responsibilities at the moment but I hope that I will get there.
We are adjusting to life slowly.
Funding stopped as soon as it started which has been frustrating and I will be chasing it. Meanwhile I have used my deposit that had been returned to bridge the gap. I have sold the shop microwave and hopefully the fridge for a few pound and brought a second hand train set tovstop the argument over who has Thomas or Gordon trains etc.
Dgd has broken her foot so we've had two visits to hospital this week.
The sewing is still coming in, it's finding time to do it that's the most difficult.
I will continue to do my best but I sometimes wonder what exactly that needs to be.
Hopefully I haven't said anything out of order for those who want to cause me grief and like to tell tales to the local authorities.
I will not post much, but I have had several messages asking how I am ( and others). We are all well ( other than Dgds foot ofcourse). When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

There is. There's also been a warning from SS and many people pointing out how easy it is to join the dots.
I guess I just think less issues with the authorities in very uncertain times is more important than my entertainment/ nosiness.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -

I've been away for a couple of weeks so just had a catch up. Pleased you got the money back from the shop. It's good to hear the work is coming in it's just a pity there aren't more hours in a day to get it done!
I hope you've had some sun it's murky , wet and grey here so not a gentle autumn . Remember to use the sad lamp once the days start drawing in . Are you still managing to sleep ok? Hope the patient isn't too uncomfortable you need to make a bubble wrap outfit or maybe a set of chain mail.
Take care and as beanie says Keep Plodding.
