Thankyou everyone.
I have had a good day. I sewed in my cabin from 8.30ish until just before 2pm, then Biggest came over with a bunch of flowers and we walked down to work, the ladies sang happy birthday to me and they had got me cards and a cake. Then Biggest and I ( and the baby), went for a sandwich in one of the many cafes here. Then we had a real mooch in the charity shop and I bought several bargains, including a baby wet suit, a munchkin booster seat for £5, reins, so I can take small people to the park, a few outfits for a few quid for the various grand children and a beautiful pale blue evening dress for me. I don't know when I will wear it but I couldn't resist.
This evening I am going out for a meal with some friends in Oxford.
Thankfully Dgd seams to be better today.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Ooh let us know where you go in Oxford, not that I ever really went out for meals there, I lived there from 73 til 2017, so my home for years and years! Lived in Littlemore area!0
