Not nagging but just to remind you that you will need to do your tax credit renewal anyway by the end of the month
I know!
I usually do it as soon as I get the reminder but with everything else going on I completely forgot.
I only have a few days tovsort it, so I will be doing my accounts first and at least getting a year end figure to see how I am getting on, and go from there.
I don't know what to do about the tax credit side because if I get a fostering allowance then I cannot claim it, but if I get a SGO like Dgd then I can so I want some advice. Either way the Mother should not Be claiming still and I doubt she will willingly stop.
It may take a while to straighten it all out. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Tax credits updated. Couldn't access my gateway so had to do it on the phone. I have also added the children and claim put in for child benefits as advised last night by social so eventually I will get some funding and the mother will not have it and will have to pay it back if she keeps claiming.
It will take up to 10 weeks apparently for things to be updated but then what will be will be.
I am working in my cabin but it is rather like an oven. Dgd is moaning because it is so hot.
When DS comes back from the doctors I will ask him to go and collect the air conditioner from work if he can manage the weight of it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Mooloo, I'm glad that you will be getting a bit of money in to defray your additional expenses. I hope SS get their finger out and do their part but they will probably stay below the parapet in an effort to spare their budget! It's not difficult!

I have had an email telling me that social have approved funding for my solicitor fees, and I need to get a solicitor in the next few days. They will be sending me a formal letter in the post to give to a solicitor in the next few days.
I spent the day at home not really doing much, mostly babysitting and I did cook dinner and then I went to my Mums this evening to change her bedding and open some windows! We had a chat for about an hour and then I went to Aldi in my way home. Kitchen was a disaster zone, and it took me absolutely ages to clear the dishes and wash the next lot, clear out the fridge and rearrange all the shopping.
My friend came round with chocolates wine and a card, for me. We sat in the garden for half an hour enjoying the evening and the light breeze.
DS has had terrible issues with his instagram and Facebook being attacked by someone who then used it to access his email, Xbox Instagram etc
They then proceeded to write nasty things about his new ladyfriend, and send horrible messages to her as if from him. A picture of the gf and him in the past was put up and some lovey dicey drivel aimed at derailing his relationship etc it was a stressful day for him and his lady friend. It took ages to get Microsoft to help him. But he finally has control back, and all passwords changed.
I enjoyed being lazy today and had the baby more today as I didn't see any point in him being dragged out for the drive to Nursery and back when it's so hot and I was home anyway.
This afternoon we got the paddling pool out and the kids were splashing around even though the water was freezing.
My refurbished desk and shelves were delivered this afternoon too but I haven't decided where it's actually going yet.
Tired now. Fingers crossed no thunderstorms tonight that wakes up everyone. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I'm not surprised you were tired last night Mooloo! I hope you got a good nights sleep, you certainly need all your energy looking after the little ones.
What a mean thing for 'someone' to do to your son  I'm guessing you have a suspect in mind. It's not difficult!

Yes we have a good idea, as the content oand the people targeted make it very obvious.
I am going to insist DS gets a Non Molestation order out on her it's the final straw, after a catalogue of issues.
I woke at 1.30 with the baby screaming, Ad did come and take over, but he was a long time settling. I was up at 6 with them and Dad was "dead to the world ". I made coffee and roused him and then I went back up to do the folding and sorting of clothes that had been dumped in my room the last week. I also moved on the washing, made the beds, washed up and left the house at 9 all tidy. Bet it doesn't stay that way. Social worker arrived just before 10 as I have a new doorbell, video that shows me who is at the door. Very clever stuff. Although I have had to turn the motion sensor off as every few minutes it was warning me of movement at my front door.
It's rather warm here at work but I am just taking it slowly. Too warm to rush and the winter coats can wait till it's cooler to do!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Way too hot to rush

I am usually ok with the heat, but today I managed just bit I am too tired to start to do anything else even though I had planned to do something in the garden when it cooled down. The baby is asleep but my lad is still messing around but not as bad as he can be. The challenge is less than it was, and we get lots more cuddles and smiles from him.
He pointed out that one of the Lego books Dgd has is for girls, he said he doesn't like girls, he likes the boys like , and he named three of his friends at Nursery. He's going to miss them.
We are still waiting to hear from the education authority where we will be taking him to school, but I am thinking positively and hopefully he will get into the school Dgd has just left.
DS is working tonight so I am going to bed now and see if I can get a couple of hours before the baby wakes up yelling at me.
Dgd is watching Blue planet and as she wants to be a marine biologist I am leaving her too it. I will check on her when I next wake for the loo!
The work has nearly caught up as the town quietens down for the school holidays- I usually close for a week around now, but as I am officially closing next Wednesday I will keep plodding on. It means that on Saturday I should be able to start to dismantle the top floor desks etc and clear down from there.
Fingers crossed for a couple of hours peace.
Night night xWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
