De-lurking to wish you all the best for tomorrow.
Re the phone, do you or anyone you know have a dehumidifier, if so it might be worth putting the phone fairly close and running it for a while, worked a treat on laptop with tea spilt on it.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Phone was taken apart immediately we found it and dried out but it still didn't work (not surprisingly), my daughter's husband fixes phones so he talked her through it from Canada on FaceTime. So he has ordered a new screen and when it comes we will try that.
Tomorrow I am hoping for a smooth and productive case. I am hoping that I will at least be able to apply for the lads School by the end of the day as Time is running out.
The exgf pestered DS last night, the police rang him wanting to know where the kids were, and at some stage she was in A&E so god knows what happened except we know she was drunk, so she is digging her own grave.
I am feeling calm, and unphased as I have accepted the fact I need to step up to the plate and be the best person I can be.
Thankfully I am not broken anymore and the tablets have kicked in, I am no longer exhausted all the time, I can think clearly and I have my strength and determination back.
It's not ideal but it is not the end of the world either. I just keep getting the random thoughts "I got this" going through my head.
Now if only I could sort out DS as easily , or win a fortune on something random!!!

Think Obama Mooloo and keep repeating Yes I Can. I really fail to understand how exgf is recommended for shared parental care. She just can't control her behaviour at all.
I hope the phone gets sorted . Get yourself to bed with an hypnosis tape and try to sleep.

School meeting at new school tomorrow for Dgd, to talk with Senco etc and pupil premium etc
Went to pay Nursery registration fee and told that I don't have to pay as funded and in January baby can start July let her know what sessions I want.
Been into work to organise Seamstress.
Washing on.
Pottering done.
Think I might need ear defenders while we distract baby from new habits of screaming as both boys doing it is definitely loud.
Not heard anything for the exgf since her torrent from A & E wonder what she will be like in court today.
DS is unwell and somewhat stressed.
Unsurprisingly.
Biggest is babysitting the baby and the lad is in Nursery.
I am about to move the washing and then drive to town with the roof down on my little car as I may well have to trade it in soon so I plan to make the most of this lovely weather today.
I am calm, and I feel in control which is good. Might not feel so calm at lunchtime though! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Good luck, mooloo
Hope things turn out well for you and your family
Take care0 -
Wow you've been busy this morning Mooloo. Good news about the senco meeting it should help dgd to have support when she moves school in September. I hope her first transition day went well yesterday and she'll feel more settled by the end of the week.
I'm glad you'll have nursery funding and the premium one less thing to worry about.
Re the screaming I found unless the neighbours were being impacted it was easier not to react . No audience and no reaction is boring and they soon find something else to occupy their time.
Enjoy the drive into town with the warm wind in your hair. Sending you all the positive vibes that today will focus on what's best for the little ones and you and the family. I know you spoke yesterday about wishing you could get ds to sort himself out. Once you know where things stand and the boys are in a settled routine then is the time to tackle the elephant in the room. You're changing your life and your plans and ds needs to get a grip and stop stressing you. He needs to change .
Sending all the positive vibes. So many here have you in mind today. See you on the other side.
