Mooloo, I hope that today goes well and that you will have a clear plan for moving forward (((hugs))).

Yes, you can and will cope with whatever is thrown your way. However, you are more likely to come out the other side with your mental and physical health intact if you build in regular time for enjoyment, relaxation etc right from the start. When I started running* and was doing a run/walk program we were told it was better to take walk breaks right from the start, rather than waiting until we felt we needed them. I think that applies to other situations too.

Beanie, I'm sorry you are going through a difficult time :(

Polly, I am a singleton and always longed for siblings. Perhaps we were separated at birth! :)

*But that was in another country, and besides the wench is dead.
    It's not difficult!

We're adjourned pending yet further reports but we will be getting more contact from Sunday. Mum was not happy with me there but the judge overruled her reasons.
Social once again we're not fully prepared and an out of county solicitor attended but they didn't have an exact care plan and I had not applied for a care order, which obviously I hadn't known that I had to do. But judge accepted a verbal request to the court so I got to be party to the proceedings.
Now we wait for the next date.
But it means that I at least won't have 4 under 4 for the weekend!!

Unfortunately although I felt fine in there with in an hour I am shivering and shaking, my skin is crawling and I have taken two paracetamol, brought a cup of tea and a hot water bottle and left Dgd and DS to deal with the dinner and bed etc.

Hopefully you aren't coming down with something. It's more likely to be reaction to all that's happening. It isn't easy to be in your position and you've done well to keep on going.

Social Services seem to still be in inept mode which has obviously slowed things down. It's a good idea to settle down in bed and rest and recharge.

Rest now Mooloo - to have to face this today, and the exgf too and her demands! Your body needs some respite and to recharge.

SS really are not covering all bases are they - dreadful😕. I hope by the next meeting things shall be in place.

Sending you hugs and that you have a peaceful evening/sleep. X

It will hopefully just be a stress reaction.
Hopefully you will feel more like yourself soon.
Really hope it is resolved soon.
SS's dont seem to be very organised sadly.

    Take care xx

I feel better this morning thankfully.
Paracetamol, and tea and then hot water bottle followed at 9 by a small hot toddy. Meant I didn't have too bad a night.
Baby woke at 12.30 I started his bottle but Dad took over. Then I heard him at about 5.45 he obviously found his dummy and went back to sleep and only just woke at 8.30
I am sitting on the lid of the loo while he is here in the bath as he was soaked this morning. Not surprised really.
Dad left at 8.30 to take the Lad to Preschool. In the conversation about what was happening today and that he would be going to Mummies once again he said he didn't want to go to Mummy. That is always a heart/gut wrenching moment as we have no Choice.
Waiting for the Police Disclosures May change things but until the court gets that our hands are tied.
It's my day off today, but I am busy later teaching another lady how to use the overlocker and I was supposed to be babysitting for Biggest, but I am hoping DS can help as there is a meeting with Senco at Dgds new school that is important for me to attend.
    Always something to think about.

It's lovely to see the baby playing in the bath and chattering away with me and the toys without his brother snatching everything or pushing him around.
We managed Without major meltdown today too.
