Good Morning All
PF - Thanks for starting us off today, hope you manage to rest up. I too was awake most of the night (must be the excitement keeping me awake, lol) and had just dropped off when the alarm went off - I only set it so I could see the "bin men" and give them a big bag of goodies.
CCL - Hope the migraine lifts, it may be all the stress of the last few weeks.
Another quiet day, we have already popped to the supermarket and got everything we need for the week and have no other plans to leave the house. Today we will

PurpleFairy thank you for starting this weeks thread
I'm another who had a broken nights sleep. When I got up this morning my temperature was all over the place and the world seemed all out of kilter. I have decided to come back to bed for a rest (and some peace and quiet), not long after laying down both my temperature and the world were back to normal. I going to give it another half an hour and then try getting up again, if I'm ok I'll have a shower.,
We are probably staying up to see in the new year, but nobody will be forced to. Our plan is to play board games, including cranium and a chocolate trivia pursuit we received in a hamper.
Meals today are from stores, my Mum is making us vegetable lasagna for our main meal and we have home made soup, home made bread as well as cheese, ham and sliced turkey plus fresh fruit, vegetables and salads for lunch.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Gosh, maybe there was something in the air last night as quite a few people slept badly / felt groggy
Back from town, eating lunch (chip shop chip and sausage in batter. Whoops. But I almist saw it as a win as it was cheaper and more filling than the 'Golden Arches' food that my eldest has been nagging me to get
I didn't find a dress but did pick up one more murder mystery thingie for £2. Plus some cheap loo roll, toothpaste and bin bagsApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Well my head has cleared, which is good news. I didn't get any more sleep but the magic pink pills plus a Sudafed did the trick.
Car was delivered back to me by 1pm, all clean and hoovered out with just 2 little advisories about paint chips (which I knew about - I'm not worrying as they're on plastic rather than metal so won't rust).
Made some last minute plans to have my sister round tomorrow to have dinner with us (returning the favour from Christmas) except I didn't have anything in :rotfl: Went to the butcher for a joint of pork and Mr M for some lovely bread buns and bits to go with them - we'll have pulled pork sandwiches. So not a nsd but plenty of food available
Chances of being awake at New Year are less than 5% so I shall say Happy New Year to all now and 'Lang may your lum reek' as my mam always says. Apparently this is a good wish...Not giving up

Weekly hair wash in cold water (sure did wake me up a bit) - done. If anyone is wondering why I would do this, my hair is dyed bright purple and pink so it's to preserve the colour. - I was, so thank you for explaining CLFFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Dawn we are with Plusnet, have been for years, no problems that I can remember. At the end of the deal we just ring up and renegotiate, either to pay the same or less.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Morning guys
Happy New Year! _party_ may it bring us all good things :A CCL I love that saying! Googled it and it has a lovely sentiment that speaks to me!
As I was working yesterday and today we didn't do anything for NYE. I'm not that fussed with NYE. I've had many great nights on NYE but staying in doesn't bother me.
Boo hoo am working todayreminding myself I can do anything for 12 hours
I'm at the office the other side of the county so will get £25 in mileage allowance and will at the least be driving home at 7 - small comforts!
Other than working:
* update expenses/ot (time and a 3rd today...)
* all meals from stores - xmas dinner soup & the last of the coronation turkey with rice and salad
* check onepoll
* hang up washing before going - better get a move on then!
* write my goals for Jan in my diary
* watch a youtube tutorial on unpicking serged threads

Happy New Year everyone
Hoping the poorlies are feeling better today.
CCL hope the migraine stays away. I also googled the saying:)
Been catching up on messages from Christmas this morning.
Managed to stay up until 12.30am with Jools with the help of a cat nap at 7pm. Wanted to try and stay up bec of the fireworks and the cats.
Managed to hit my decluttering target yesterday so will have a think today about a new target.
Over to my mums for lunch. Taking food with me including turkey in gravy and making use of the 29p potatoes I'm still using up so haven't had to buy anything
Haven't made any new years resolutions as I always break them!
Still putting things away from Christmas.....will do a few more bits today.
Nothing much else planned
Have a great day everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning all! _party_ and Happy 2019
My mam is Scottish and often comes out with these little phrases that she has always used - I don't know if it's even still said in Scotland but it is a nice sentiment
I did end up being awake into New Year last night, although only just. DD asked me to stay up with her so I did, but reckon I was asleep by quarter past twelve. I slept until 8 though, so not too bad, and today's plans are fairly relaxed.
I need to do a bit of housework - the floor is in desperate need of hoovering, again. And the kitchen looks as though someone emptied a bin bag over it. I'm hoping it's just stuff needing to be put away and the rubbish needing to be put out so not a big job. The pork is in the slow cooker and should be lovely by later this afternoon so I will be good to go later.
I've put £50 into my debt pay off fund but haven't checked any other finances yet - I'm still a bit fuzzy for doing that at the moment. However, I refuse to get stressed or worry about it.Not giving up
