Freezing fog here today but no snow as yet.

Beds are all stripped and first load in the wash, will re-make beds soon, then clean bathroom. Groceries coming between 11-12 so I might have to walk the dog after lunch, he doesn't look like he has plans to move anytime soon so I doubt he will mind.

Am going to put stew and dumpling in the slow cooker for DH's tea, the suet is in my use up box, there will still be enough in it for him to have it again another week. I will have hm soup and the kids will be finishing the tortellini.

Thanks ccl for keeping us on the straight and narrow this month, see you all next month.

Was planning a trip to farmf00ds this morning to take advantage of a voucher and get some Brexipocalypse shopping (mainly teabags!!) (just in case :D) However, it's really cold out there (-2 - and yes, I know there are places much colder than this!!) and my car is still all frozen and I don't see the need to go out on the black icy roads just for stocking up shopping. OH is out this morning (volunteering) so his car is all nicely defrosted so I can always nip out when he is back if I am desperate. Other than that I have a day of company paperwork and housework to do - ooh - and some ironing! :D:D (only about 20-30 mins worth max)

See you all on the other side - thank you, ccl, for this month's challenge! :T x

-5 this morning. but no snow. I am glad I am working from home. I will have to go get some cash out to pay for childcare and repay a chunk of the money DPIL lent us for the roof at lunchtime before picking DS up this evening.

I am now on 7 NSDs and should get one today which will be a dismal 8/15 for the month :o

    I am grateful for
    1) discovering a tasty slow cooker sausage casserole recipe that used veg we had in and store cupboard ingredients
    2) finally getting my CV re-write completed
    3) some good feedback on a piece of work I created

Today I am grateful for effective gloves, for lovely pupils, for finding what I wanted in liddle, for getting another run done, for getting a good chunk of my marking completed, for a hot shower, for watching a new Father Brown, for some good news.

Stalled on 20 NSDs, when I went out to defrost the car, I noticed one of my headlights was out, so very un-MSE of me, I went to the Ford of Hal, and paid them to put a new one in. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the young man struggle, and then have to take half the front of the car to pieces to put the bulb in and get it clipped in. £16 lighter but it is done and I am safe. Does not look like there will be enough snow here to bother a gnat.

Went to Mr M's shopping emporium and spent my free £5 voucher, my shopping came to £5.06, and there was 8p in tuppences in the coin slot, so the shopping was free to me.

Thank you for keeping me on the straight and narrow in January CCL, I ended up in credit, just, which is all that counts.

Today I’m grateful for my zippo style handwarmer hubby bought me.

    Snowing here in Dorset brrr.

I had 8 NSD. I’m very happy. Donated some money for my nephews new 🚘 so that’s how I helped someone. Food bank in February will get my help.

I sorted out a drawe at the weekend and other than a few garage bite I’m up to date.

In terms of excercise I aim for 8,000 steps a day!

Every day I learn how to save more money and I’ll only change a product if it is similar or better quality.

Cannot wait for next month even if I didn’t meet my 10 nsd target :A

I didn't manage a NSD today so finished on 7. Must try harder!

Today I am grateful for a good relationship with colleagues, skype, DS not moaning about going to the shopping centre to buy DH birthday book and cards ;), DH having a great month at work and the boost it has given to his confidence in his own abilities
