I'm wearing another new ASOS dress today, it was labelled as Chinese red. I might wear this when we go out to Stratford in the next couple of weeks. We already booked the dogs in overnight again at the vet.
I think it will look good with a long necklace so I will look out for one.:)
The new dress and tops arrived. I said to my husband that I will order him a larger size and I'm glad I did as they are very slim fit.My DDs have coloured bags which I always think look good especially in red and green.
Yes, I think that is a good look, especially if you wear a lot of black, it adds a pop of colour.0 -
I have always been a bit scared of colour, but over the past few months, I have been expanding my colour palette. I agree, shoes, bags and jewellery are a nice way to add colour into your wardrobe.0

Hello Ladies,
All that happened was that the 2 young black Jamaican men were trying to initiate conversations with me on various days and trying to repeatedly get me to dance with them. They were both good looking, and physically fit and very talented dancers, but I was not in the least bit interested simply because they were far too young for me. I also got the impression that my lack of interest in either of them kept them trying again and again until the night before I left the resort. :rotfl:
My sister R was so annoyed with me, because she was desperate to be noticed by any man, but she was constantly being overlooked by all the men in the resort. one day she demanded to know why I would not show any interest in either of the 2 young Jamaican men, as if I had an obligation to reciprocate their interest :rotfl:
The mature white American man was very complimentary about my dancing and admitted he had been watching me dance for 2 nights before he got the courage to approach me. I did dance with him the once and had a short conversation with him while we were dancing, but in the end, I moved away from him and continued dancing by myself.
I was polite to all 3 men, but I made it clear that I simply was not interested. Good manners cost me nothing but consideration for other people's feelings.0 -

You should have redirected the two young men towards your sister.:rotfl: It seemed like she felt left out.:D2025 GOALS

Hello Ladies,
Yes Wednesday she felt completely left out. She kept on flirting with any man that came anywhere near her in an outrageous way which was only making them step away from her rank desperation. She was jealous because she is not used to me going on holiday with her and my sister H, so had not realised she would end up feeling overshadowed by me. She usually goes on holiday with my sister H who is far fatter than her, so makes her look good in comparison. My sister R is used to being the sister who gets the male attention but this holiday she was feeling invisible.
Unfortunately for her, I could not redirect either of the 2 young Jamaican men in her direction as they were not in the slightest bit interested in her.
My sister R is having her 60th birthday celebrations next weekend in Birmingham. My younger daughter who is now 27 years old and my younger son who is 19 years old arel travelling down together by train with me and we are staying in a local Travelodge from the Friday to Sunday. We are all excited at celebrating at her family party and later in the evening we are going to a nightclub to continue the celebrations without the younger members of the family.0 -
Good morning lovely ladies.....
Lovely day here. My phone is playing up so need to pop into town and get it looked at. So, will get dolled up and turn it into a nice outing. Have a little mooch round the shops.
Then hopefully later just enjoy the sun whilst I potter in the garden.
Have a great day.0 -
Good morning lovely ladies.....
Another lb down, but blood sugars up  hopefully just a blip but it is so frustrating. Just got to keep at it.
Had a lovely day. Phone got sorted ok, and then had a nice mooch, picked up a skirt and a couple of tops from the chazzer and some posh soap from TK Maxx.
Going to my first meet up tonight, dancing. Sorry Wednesday but I thought I'd wear my jump suit. :rotfl: Bit nervous but they seem like a friendly lot. I've had a couple of texts saying Hi and welcome. That's nice.
Need to prep the kitchen and dining room ready for the builder first thing tomorrow, other than that not much planned for today. Doubt if I'll do much in the garden, rain forecast. I might prep the back bedroom for decorating, fill in cracks and previous pictures holes etc.
The house needs a clean but not much point till the builder has finished, so a good excuse :rotfl:
Have upped the retinol, still no adverse effects. Skin looks pretty good but I have noticed that since eating fewer fats it is much dryer. Am using industrial quantities of moisturiser to try and compensate. :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone,0 -
Hello All
It's been a while since I updated..still fabbing along
Wearing my new DP clothes to work and continuing with the BB cream, mascara and lippy every day as well as doing something lovely with my hair.
Lots of comments on how healthy I'm looking and how much weight I've lost, though that's only 9lbs.
I'm definately feeling better for putting the effort in and it's not even taking alot of time, so that's also a bonus.
Went to an awards ceremony on Wednesday evening and wore a Jacque Vert dress that I've worn before. It's a lovely burgandy colour and I was very pleased with how it looked, especially with a full face of makeup and hair all curly/wavy.
I have today off so I'm spending the next few days giving my face a rest from makeup and my hair a rest from products and blow drying.
I bought a garnier air food/mask thing and I'll be putting that on my hair over the next few days to get it lovely and moisturised. I should probably moisturise my body and especially my hands while I've got the free time.0 -

I wish I hadn't mentioned the subject of jumpsuits!:rotfl:I bought a garnier air food/mask thing and I'll be putting that on my hair over the next few days to get it lovely and moisturised.

I got my hair trimmed yesterday, I'm going to have that done every couple of months now instead of every six months as it looks healthier.
I have booked in to see the hygienist the day before we go out to Stratford. I am also going to ask about teeth whitening.
While I'm out in Stratford I'm going to get my wedding and engagement rings resized at Ernest Jones. They do fit me but they feel too tight and I think it might just be that my fingers have got bigger or more saggy with age?
I will get my husband to buy me a long necklace while we are there.
I was looking at the reviews of nail salons near me. How much do people on here pay for their manicures?:)2025 GOALS
