    Good morning lovely ladies........

Is it November?? What a dark, wet, miserable, gloomy day and so chilly too. Surely it's not Wimbledon already. :rotfl:

Unfortunately looks like more of the same over the next few days.

Anyway going to have a nice indoor day.......cooking, pottering, a bit of sorting and decluttering, although I could do with a food shop at some point.

    Manana Maybe.:rotfl:

I'm a mass of aches and pains today, a combination of tiredness and the weather I think so going to start with a mineral salt bath and then try and do some gentle yoga stretches and just keep warm.

    Have a good day.

    Hello Ladies,

Today in London the weather is dry and sunny. I am really glad that we have good weather today but my Arthritis is really bad in my right shoulder today. :( I have limited movement in my right arm, so I am just going to stay at home, rest and take painkillers. :p

Yes, it's nice in London today, yesterday was like Autumn!:( It was so dark as well.

I'm wearing my black maxi dress with a purple top and my new silver necklace.

I'm wearing my new Figleaves bra too. It's just a plain black one but it is very comfortable.:) Much more so than my other bras. I will buy from them again.

I've been using a waterpik as I can't get on with those little sticks you use to clean in between your gums. They hurt too much.

The waterpik doesn't hurt and you can really feel how clean your teeth are afterwards. I should have started using it sooner as I have the hygienist next week but I will see if the she notices any difference.

Glad to hear that the christening went well LL. Sounds like the whole family enjoyed it. A day to rememeber. :)

It's much drier, brighter and warmer here today too but hardly what I'd expect for June. :( I went to my art group last night (Art Deco Architecture) and the air conditioning was full on and they couldn't find any site staff to turn it off. It was freezing. :( I was glad to get home, whack up the heating and have a warm drink.:)
Oh, okay. I did see a range of prices, some started at £5 which seemed very cheap!

I might just go in and ask at some point. There is one that is three minutes walk from a tube station near me.

My nail place does a £5 version which is just normal polish. I used to do that until I discovered shellac. I had my nails done yesterday so I now have painted toes and fingers.

miserable here 2! took Hubby to the Turkish barber for his cut throat shave , head shave...

That's one of the things DH will enjoy when we're away. His hair grows thick and fast so he'll need it cutting but the whole experience including massage for arms and shoulders is worth it. He's told his local hairdresser that he plans to be unfaithful!;)

We're all sorted for tomorrow. I won't pack until the last minute but I've checked my list and everything is to hand. I'll be back early July. :A

Ooh, we just got tickets to see Muse in concert again as they released new dates for September.

    Good morning lovely ladies.....

Still wet here but thankfully a bit warmer. Yesterday was just the pits.

Going to go out shopping later, mainly food but I might just have a nice mooch - definitely need to get out today otherwise I'll go stir crazy. :rotfl:

Still using the retinol and whilst I can't see any dramatic results yet I do look a bit more "glowy" so I think it's doing something and my skin is coping with it. It's obviously a very mild compound but I can always step up to a stronger version once my skin is acclimatised.

I have also started using a serum which contains 4% SYN-AKE - an active ingredient which is allegedly derived from snake venom. Apparently it is supposed to work by temporarily paralysing the muscles which cause wrinkling. Botox in a bottle. :rotfl: but without the "frozen face" effect.

I'm skeptical but it was cheap enough so I'll give it a whirl.....;)

Still also using daily vitamin C serum, my skin loves that.

Sadly I’m struggling with my skin again, have had acne in various forms all my life, well, since puberty (weirdo hormones & health issues)
I get boils, spots, raw patches and even sore areas on my neck (atm, that’s a new symptom) my skin also peels a lot and doesn’t heal very well.
Any suggestions as to what I could try to help myself out a little..
I do use coconut oil to moisturise my body (not face) when able and weleda skin food, also when its feeling happy.. I have no particular routine & I’m wondering if it could help me to have one??
Thanks in advance, I love the advice and support on here.;)
Ooooh n I confess to now owning a jumpsuit (or pantsuit:rotfl:) I love it even though I’m not particularly slender. :D
