Sorry to hear that humpty. Hopefully a new medication that suits can be found very soon. At least now the GP is on the case. :)

Those are super figures (literally and metaphorically) Wednesday.:T It's quite common not to lose when you start exercising and equally common not to lose every week even though you're following the plan. Keep at it and it will come good.:)

So pleased that you got an appointment for your hair today SSDD23. Great hair is such a boost.:)

I think healthy eating and personal care are two great fabbing goals in themselves Frankie. Well done for getting back on track.:T

In the queue in our local shop today and I did some people watching. There was a young girl, probably on her lunch break, and she looked so smart. Just a simple pair of narrow, black ankle length trousers with black ballet pumps and a white !!!!! bow blouse tucked in. She was carrying one of those large tote bags. I'm describing that as although she was probably half my age it's a look anyone could probably carry off. I have some very similar clothes myself although I wouldn't do white (at this time of the year) as it drains my colour.

Almost to prove my point, I got dressed to go shopping today and DH complimented me on my flame red jumper. I'd put it on as it's colder here today but he said how much the colour suited me. :)

I despise beige, brown , mustard colours.Unless you have lovely dark or olive skin, they're so draining:(
Love the sound of the dress WEDNESDAY ;):D
Am dying to have a chazzer hunt, but am not buying anything until i've lost another stone or so:o

I agree about the colours. There have been some lovely mustard things around this year but an absolute no-no for me.

Funnily enough though I used the CSs a lot as I was losing weight. A cheap way to get temporary sizes and I experimented with colours as I slowly moved away from hiding in black. Now I just use them as they're mse. :money:

    Good morning lovely ladies.....

Oddly enough that mustard colour suits me........my skin is sort of pale Mediterranean olive rather than English rose and that mustard does give me a lift but beige does drain me. It makes me look washed out. Browns, blacks and navies just make me look ill. Instead I wear olive green, charcoal grey and a sort of airforce blue. Since my hair turned white I have had to experiment a bit.

I guess I'm still an Autumn but I think as you get older you do need to re-evaluate and maybe tweak things a bit.

I think getting colours right can make a huge difference, not just to how we look but I also think it can affect us psychologically too. Red for energy, blue for calmness - that kind of thing.

This week I have lost another 2lbs, and since starting out I have lost a whopping 6 inches off my waist :j great news for my diabetes because it's the weight round the middle that is the bad guy. And of course it's the dreaded middle aged spread that can make us look so old and frumpy. That and the matronly bosom. ;)

    Miserable day here.

    Have a great weekend.

I think it's the combination of the thyroid medication making me less fatigued and using my rebounder (mini trampoline) that has helped me lose so many inches this week.

I would highly recommend getting a rebounder if you want to tone up as it is very good exercise and very gentle on the joints too. I'm sure I read that 5 minutes of bouncing is equivalent to 15 minutes of running! It doesn't take up a lot of space either as it can be stored upright in a wardrobe.

I enjoy it too. I just blast some loud music like The Prodigy and bounce for 15 minutes a day.:A

I just find it strange that it hasn't shown up the scale yet. I was thinking about getting one of those scales that shows body fat percentage. Not sure I want to know, though.:D

I think that is a very classic look that probably would suit a lot of women.:)

:T well done on your 2lbs LL.

Just out of curiosity (as I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to WW) do you have fixed days for weighing (at class or at home?) or are you just checking because you can't resist it.;)

Sometimes home scales aren't the same as those at class so that may account for things. Also, do you fill in food diaries so that your group leader can check if something's creeping into the plan that shouldn't be there? Sorry for dumb questions but I'm just trying to suggest why you might have stalled a bit.

I certainly wouldn't want those fancy scales. I don't have any at home at all. DH and I threw our old ones away years ago as they were gathering dust and we didn't like what they said.;) Now I just weigh every 2 months and use my clothes to tell me how I'm doing.

My clean jeans this morning tell me I could be a few pounds lighter.:( I'm sure that's the results of being away and eating out so much the other week catching up but I'm back to my usual eating now so should sort itself soon.

Football this afternoon. It's a very crucial time of the season so we're hoping for good news today. It's bright here but blowing a gale. I almost always wear team colours so it'll be my black quilted coat today with black jeans and a red scarf. :)

I weigh myself at home, it's meant to be Friday but I do it every morning.:rotfl:

I know my scales are accurate as I asked the GP to weigh me the other morning and it was the same as at home.

I only just got diagnosed with hypothyrodism a few weeks ago so I'm not sure if that is the problem.:(

I don't mind maintaining this weight and just toning up if that is the problem. It's just annoying that I am sticking to my WW points and not losing weight.

The new maxi skirt was falling down when I was out walking yesterday so I can see a visual difference!:o:D

I will have to see what my weight is like next Friday.

Wednesday.....thanks for the trampoline link. I was wondering about investing because as you know running is a strict No no with my knee, even brisk walking can be a problem. I have to be so careful not to twist it again so even with a knee support I have to be mindful of how I walk. Doesn't that sound crazy......having to stop and think about something that should be so automatic as walking.

I was thinking of buying a treadmill but I think a trampoline sounds like a better option, at least for now. I have a cross trainer but even that can be a problem when my knee flares up.

What a wreck......but hopefully not for much longer. ;).

I've just had a little snackette before I go shopping........

Still horrible here, don't really fancy going out, but needs must.

    Good morning lovely ladies......

Just thought I'd share something with you.

The fabbing is really starting to pay off now. I'm losing weight and am starting to feel so much happier in my skin. I feel optimistic and so much more confident about the future........so much so that last night, in a fit of mad impulsiveness, I joined a dating website.:rotfl:

I have decided it's time to be a bit more proactive.......a handsome hunk isn't going to come a knocking on my door - I have to go out and find him.

But OMG how do I do this...........it's been over 40 years since I dated. Scary stuff.

So to ease myself in gently I thought I'd dip my toe into the world of
    Online dating. :rotfl:

    Wish me luck.........;)
