I just cleaned my face and now have an mud mask on. I'm going to put on some facial oil mixed with chamomile essential oil afterwards.
Hmm, I feel quite energetic today. It's only the third day of taking the Levothyroxine. It's meant to to take 7 days to notice any change.
I vacuumed downstairs, mopped the floor, cleaned the bathroom and did a load of laundry. I then cleaned the french windows and the window frames inside and out. They were bloody gross, lol!:o
I managed to put the clean curtains back up on the pole on my own without my husband helping me. I haven't been able to do that since about 2016!
I don't feel tired as well now, that would normally have exhausted me.
Sounds very promising, fingers crossed that this is the new normal for you.0 -

I hope so too, I just called my husband at work to tell him and he was shocked at the curtain pole bit.:D
I did mention to him what you said when you first took it, though.humptydumptybits wrote: »Sounds very promising, fingers crossed that this is the new normal for you.

Has the doctor said anything about another test Wednesday? My DD felt the initial boost but it was the increase that made the lasting difference. You can see what she means about the weight, is it the tablets or is the all the energy you burn off because of the tablets? Either way she was so happy about how much better she felt and the weight loss was a bonus.0

Oh yes, I meant to ask, those of you who do skin peels, do you have any tips before I use the one I just ordered?:)
I read that you have make sure you put on sun protection afterwards?
Is it better to do it at night so your skin has time to recover while you are asleep?humptydumptybits wrote: »Has the doctor said anything about another test Wednesday? He only gave me two months of tablets so I have to go back at the end of May to see if the levels have changed.
I already had the blood test form from the other GP I saw a couple of weeks ago. I have to get B12, iron and folic acid and other stuff checked as well because of the possible pernicious anaemia.2025 GOALS

LL - great news on the weight loss. Regarding Retinol, my internet skin care guru Caroline Hirons is doing a series of you tube videos on the various forms of retinol, I think 4 done so far with more to come. She explains the different variants of Vitamin A, their strengths, formulae. who they might be suitable for or not, compares the different products (more than 50 so far). Problems one might encounter if the wrong one is selected too soon, how to correct problems etc. If you want to take a look just google her name. I have been using a gentle one in an oil base and am about to start the second container of it. may step it up in a few months, but very slowly.:D
Wednesday - everything crossed for you energy wise.
Humpty - another fair one who does not sunbathe, I have to be even more careful now I am using a Retinoid and also take a prescribed RA medication which contras sun exposure.
Moll - there are some threads on Health and Beauty if you scroll back on tooth whitening, 2 dentist often contribute and shoot doen the more outlandish suggestions:eek:, the concensus seems to be that the whitening tooth pastes will reduce staining temporarily, but nothing other than the treatment suggested by your dentist will whiten safely. I was lucky as I needed to have an impression taken of my top teeth for some treatment which my insurance covered, so I only had to pay for the bottom tray and the bleach, so now I just buy the bleach from dentist at a cost of £30.
Clippy_girl - I tried a couple of neck and bust creams when they came as part of sets, but I found them sticky, which I hate, so didn't finish them, the above mentioned "guru" advocates taking face products "down to the t*ts". I have gone from an F to a DD and at 70 am not really pert, but always use a rich body butter or cream and am not too saggy :rotfl:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Great news about your energy levels Wednesday .:)
Brilliant weightloss LL . You must be well on the way to your next half stone. Delighted for you, so motivating for the week ahead. :T
I wore my new, wide legged trousers tonight with a matching jumper. DH said he liked my outfit. I was pleased he noticed.0 -
Skin peels.....follow,the instructions to the letter. Don't try to wing it and make sure you time it properly.
However, although mine says leave on for 10 minutes, I have started at just 5. That's enough to begin with. I can always increase the time later.
Yes you will need sun protection and I tend to do mine in the late afternoon when I know I'm not going to be going out again that day. You might also find you need extra moisturiser. I use the special calming solution that came with the kit,and then more moisturiser about 30 minutes later.
Err on the side of caution......;)0 -
maddiemay thanks for the teeth whitening advice
LL well done on the weight loss, you are well on your way to your 10lb "Christening" goal0
