Hello everyone,
parsniphead - sending hugs
Nannywindow - well done on the weight loss!
On some new tablets for a week and finding it hard to sleepso thought I would come on here and check in quick.
Managed to declutter a lot of chocolate out of the cupboard todaywhich I know isn't good but I'm blaming the tablets they aren't very nice but hoping they help.
So anyway today I managed to declutter a small bag of rubbish from the living room (mainly stuff from under the sofa :eek:), a load of instruction booklets for things I either don't have or don't need an instruction booklet for! An empty box that was behind the sofa (not a clue why it was still there) and lots of dust from the skirting boards (hoping this should help mine and DS asthma a bit)
Had a bath with my son and used a bath bomb - he loved it! Kept picking it up and throwing it back in the bath bless him.
Sold some house bits today was £2 but delivered them for £4 but the lady gave me £5 bless her.
Ate breakfast and lunch up the table todaydinner was in the living room but because me and DS fell asleep on the sofa and woke up gone 5!:eek:
Still reading the Marie Kondo book thinking of making a proper start on my clothes tomorrow so I have been doing a lot of washing to make sure that I can sort through all my clothes.

Morning everyone
Not done much decluttering this week, due to catching up with some long-neglected friends, but managed to get 6 bin bags of pure carp to the tip yesterday, and a few empty jars/bottles/recyclables into my recycling/glass bins.
110-115 Bags to the tip
116-125 Items into recycling/glass boxes
Still not done the dining table, so that's getting decluttered today, along with the bookcase in the front room - I'm starting a collection of stuff to fleabay/musicm@agpie. Anything that's too tatty for those sites will go in the chazzer bag for dropping off on the way to collect the littlies from school this afternoon.
I'm sure there's more on today's list but can't remember until I've had me brew... :rotfl:

Hi, everyone. Just rereading my post about hesitating to send stuff to Vintage cash Cow, but i'ts definitely going today. Dh joined in and added some items as well.
It'll be interesting to see what, if anything we get out of it.0 -
I would keep a few items and send the rest, why put them back in the box to fill a draw, much better to send them to someone.0

Afternoon all
Even though i have been feeling rubbish for what seems like an eternity i'm slowly getting my strength back.I now have a box set up so every time i find a book i scan it for we buy any books. Sorted out 1 drawer in a spare room which my eldest daughter had left filled with stuff as she has no where to put it in hers.Managed to get rid of 1/2 of it seeing as 1/2 of it was paper, boxes etc. This is going to go into an under bed drawer which is in another room .
Told my OH that he needs to start emptying the underneath of our Otamen bed as we have been gifted a rather lovely superking bed that has no storage.I only have bedding in it but once we have the new bed im mot going to need most of it as it doesn't suit the colour scheme of other bedrooms and the new bedding will go in the bottom of my wardrobe.
Slowly but surely im getting rid of things.Have a happy decluttering weekend:DMAKE £2022 in 2022 no 29 £2022/£434.10

Thank you all for your good wishes. You're all so lovely. My Tuesday does of chemo has hit me this morning so I won't get much done for the next 4 or 5 days. I'm going to try and do some bits though.
This morning I handed over a bag of old uniform to the reception teacher at school. It felt so good.:j
Tonight I'm going to sort another bag of either rubbish, jumble or donation stuff. Small steps.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Afternoon
126-131 6 bags of pure rubbish to the tip
132-134 3 broken plastic storage boxes to the tip
135-139 5 assorted broken electrical items to the tip
Also got the start of a bag for the chazzer, containing a few books at the mo - more to add over the weekend.
I've been down at DH's work, trying to make some headway in all the chaos. Filled the boot with the above-mentioned, brought home a bag of paper work to sort (bet 99% of it will end up on the fire!), 2 or 3 bags of craft stuff to [STRIKE]sort out[/STRIKE] purge, long-lost certificates for DH's mum, and what's possibly the last piece of post my dad wrote me (sat and cried when I found and read it...). There will be more upsetting surprises lurking in all the carp, I know that, but I need to do it, as mum's now been gone almost 3 years, and dad just over 10.
It was actually very cathartic throwing stuff into bags to chuck, tiny bit by tiny bit the weight is lifting from my mind - I always knew it would help me mentally, but also haven't been in a good enough place to start, IYSWIM... My brother's up this weekend, so I'm going to give him a few things of our parents' so that he can decide what to do with them - especially stuff I don't want myself.
