Good luck tomorrow parsniphead
129 - old jewellery box binned
130 - 138 - jewellery to charity shop
139 - 144 - earrings binned
145- tracing paper and photos from custom orders - recycled
146 & 147 - 2 bags to the charity shop
148 - 150 - 3 tops to the bin
151 - odd socks thrown
I have to ask how do you store earrings? I can't make my mind up what to do with themI got a pretty little box for christmas which I'm thinking about putting the bigger ones in (I have a bit of a thing for perspex earrings at the moment). But the more delicate or the studs I'm just not sure what to do with
In all of my clothes clear out I seem to have cleared 4 whole shelves! Which is incredible! And means I may be able to lose a wooden box out of the main room and keep all of my clothes in the alcove *fingers crossed*
But my biggest achievement today has been to find a space for my vintage typewriter, when I eventually get my studio it will be living in there, but for now I'm just over the moon to have it somewhere I'm not going to be kicking it most days!anything's possible if you've got enough nerve

Parsniphead - all best wishes for the op. I will be thinking of you and we all hope you'll be back posting soon.
Scarlet Ribbons - no you are not miserly, I just use the fact that the bad buys go back to helping the charity shop as an excuse to myself. Actually I worked it out that If I spend 5 euros a week in CS that is 250 a year and if 10 a week then 500 a year.I was shocked as it is at least 250 and I cant really afford that much - the 250 but not 500, well I probably could since the clothes buying bit saves me cash but the nicknacks are doubtful. So, this year I am going to be more sensible and not waste cash.
In fact today I was horrified when opening a drawer to start decluttering to discover an unworn pair of slippers and I bought a new pair only a few days ago. Still, they will keep. I shut the drawer- couldn't stand the thought of it all. Still,

Hey! I'm going for 2019 in 2019, although I'm not sure I've got 2019 items I may surprise myself! Last year was a struggle so I'm very motivated to get cleaned up, it's one less stress if you're not worried about tidying mountains of stuff. Me and my mam have already sent two big bags to the charity shop, I'm selling some other stuff to make a little bit extra. Good luck Parsniphead, sending you good thoughts.
I wish everyone a great year, happy decluttering0 -

Don’t trip over the reams of paper parsniphead! Good luck for your op tomorrow.
I’ve been decluttering my outlook contacts, yet more recipes and added a couple of items to my CS bag
It’s great to see all this decluttering, no wonder some of the CS shops are struggling to cope!
Re jewellery, I found a joy-sparking jewellery box for all my earrings from marks - made a huge difference and now they are much easier to get to.0 -
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow parsniphead - lots of good wishes winging your way. xxI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
