*352 found my cat ornament knocked off the windowsill and headless yesterday so now binned.
Wouldn't mind but think one of the cats did it and we've yet to find the head!!!!!

*353 dried flower selection, some have gone in the other display, the broken ones (again by the cats!!!) have been binned

    Neutral items=171

Oh no! to the ornament - but what's the likelihood the cat saw the rolling cat head and thought 'Yay! Toy!' and batted it under the furniture?
Do your cats have an MSE ID by the way? They sound like champion declutterers. I thought I might see them on this thread somewhere. :D

    2001 - 2040 recycling
2040 - 2100 general recycling, mainly cardboard it seems this week and last
2101 - 2104 - carpet, carpet strips, door thing for the carpet, and underlay removed from the hallway and the old quarry tiles revealed, some cleaning needed, but much easier to keep clean that the manky cream but not cream anymore carpet that was there.
2105 - 2110 - new door put onto living room, it’s been sat in the hallway awaiting the carpenter for a few weeks, and the hinges and Suffolk latch have been sat on the side for months. The rubbish is counted in the recycling.

Puppy is taking up a awful lot of time and I’m seeing clutter creeping back in :(

We've decluttered the 'new' cat from the living room to the boiler room. We were only keeping her until a new home was found - but I think she's ours now. It's a shame that she hates other animals and spits at Marlowe our ginger cat every time she sees him. They will end up sharing space though.

Hubby has been going round collecting things for the charity shop - wonders will never cease - mainly other people's stuff. I've sneaked some of his stuff in and will just look innocent if he notices .

Autumn is certainly on its way. Our trees are starting to turn and the hanging baskets are dying off. We have no gas here so I'm stocking up on charcoal for the barbeque in case of power cuts. They're cluttering up the garage, but we'll use them next summer if we don't this winter.

I'm also working at decluttering the spare fridge and spare freezer - also in the garage - I'd love to be able to stop using both. Having moved from Oldham, Manchester where we could get snowed in to Sunny Kent I need to curb my 'stocking up' impulses. I do love it here though.:T

IrishRose12 - can you take a pair of scissors to the sleeves or just wear last year’s top ;) Seems very short sighted of your employers  or maybe declutter the job for a new one ;). Shame about the rice but at least you have some wiggle room in the freezer :rotfl: Well Done on the decluttering :T
MrsSD I'd thought about cutting the sleeves off but theres a different style of hem at the end of the sleeve so dont know how it will look. Plus the tops were too big under the arms also, I felt like I would be able to flying I ran and flapped enough :rotfl:

Re the rice and freezer, was a blessing in disguise as the freezer needs defrosted and I really couldnt face eating loads of rice for dinner, so I'm one step closer to getting it defrosted this weekend :T

On the subject of growing out of things, there is a big bag of school uniform with name tapes inside which is too small and will be going to the tip this weekend.
Lee instead of taking the uniform to the tip, could you not bring it into the school? I know in my school we're grateful for donated uniform bits and bats as they're used for when kids have accidents etc. If not the school even a charity shop or local food bank if they're still in good condition.

If you're worried about the name in them if its iron on labels they come off easy enough, or a black permanent marker across it.
