Good morning fellow declutterers :D Woke up at 8:20 & was drinking my first cuppa by 8:30 ;) wonders will never cease :rotfl: DSis came down, had a cuppa & went back to bed  I have just made myself a 2nd cuppa & now the kettle is being descaled. Our Chinese last night was from a different takeaway & was not particularly nice :( Will persevere tonight & finish it off but will not be ordering from them again :(
Bit of good news for me - the £1 Premium Bond which was bought for me when I was born finally won :j £25 :T Last night I finished knitting the 1st front piece of the matinee coat & have started the 2nd front piece :D
Today is overcast & chilly - will hold off on watering the garden but will go to sm after writing a menu plan for the next 4 days. Then it will be knitting & more knitting :rotfl: I know how to live :rotfl:

2462 - 2466 Four drinks cans, small cardboard box - Recycled

Well Done parsniphead :T you were determined & correct storage is a boon :D Hopefully the Clutter Elves will remain out of your sons room after you clear under the bed :rotfl: Have you been weighing Henry’s contents when you empty him :rotfl:

Well Done on the decluttering TamsinC :T Really pleased that you are happy to share a bit of yourself :D nothing wrong with being more effusive ;) Such a lovely word with no nasty connotations :) The world would be a better place if more people were effusive :D

Now, now oceanspirit :naughty: I am absolutely certain that you have turfed out empty milk cartons or composted peelings or any of the day to day ‘stuff’ that you do automatically but do not count in your totals ;)

Nice to see you Siebrie :D

See you all tomorrow my fellow declutterers

Pleased to see you, too, Mrs Salad Dodger! I am usually active on the KonMai thread, but it goesrather quiet over the summer, so I read along here for inspiration :) I am impressed by decluttering a whole building!

Not weighed Henry's bag yet MrsSaladDodger. I'm going to wait until the bag is full and do a big weigh in at the end of the month.

It was nice to walk into DS's bedroom this morning even with so much work to do in there.

I'm starting to feel like the house is looking different. I never thought I would get to this point so it's feeling good.:j

    Hi to all :)

A very large piece of furniture went to a new home yesterday..so glad to see the back of it :):):)

Box of ornaments china, glass etc has been dropped of at the charity shop.

Going to tackle couple of kitchen cupboards this weekend. I have a few herb jars that I need to clear out. I have the habit of keep these with the intention of refilling ...have way too many of them and they are leaving the building :)

    Hello again

Been a busy bee this lunchtime: decluttered some pasta & our fave French tomato puree into the children (tube empty & binned), cheese & crackers for me, & then chucked the following:

    429-501: 73 receipts!!
502-570: 69 pieces of paper (envelopes, magazine inserts, old letters, etc.)
571-573: 3 coat hangers to bin (CS here won't take 'em)
    574: broken glue stick, binned
575: golf ball (very random, as we don't play! :rotfl:), binned

So another 147 things out of my house, not bad for a muggy Friday lunchtime, onwards & upwards!!

    A xo

1573 - 1574 - hubby decluttered a very large bush that was growing far too close to the house and a rose that was climbing through it. He then also cleared away a load of nettles, and the rubbish from when he cut the hedge, AND took away the dumpy bag I had asked him to do about 3 months ago.
    1575 - 1589 general recycling
1590 - one barrow load of plaster removed from the kitchen after we chipped it off a section of the kitchen wall to find it what was behind before the builders visit next week to plan NEXT YEARS project. Nothing like being prepared. :rotfl:

  • Back again! I have been decluttered from my job (made redundant) so I haven't got as much decluttering done as hoped as I am applying for jobs left, right & centre.

Good morning fellow declutterers :D Woke up at 9:00 & was up & at ‘em by 9:15 - fingers crossed 🤞 that I can continue to get up at a reasonable time. Lovely bright day & was up in time to pay the milkman . Last night I made a conscious decision NOT to do the washing up so did that this morning. Have given the back garden a thorough watering before the sun comes round ;) Cancelled my milk for next week as we have a glut & binned the plastic sack of general rubbish which I keep by the back door. Currently playing AG2 whilst drinking my first cuppa. DSis came down for a cuppa & has gone back to bed & DH has come down for his cuppa & is now watching MotoGP qualifying. I did write the menu plan & visit the sm yesterday. Also went back to the pharmacy to exchange the wrong sized knee support that I bought for my DSis - she twisted her knee on Thursday evening & couldn’t walk properly :( she is falling to pieces as she had already twisted the ankle on her other leg  I have to say I don’t remember my DSis being so clumsy ;) My luck continues as I found 20p at the sm :rotfl: Today I will do my washing including bedding, TaB competition entries, some knitting & then I will draw up a plan for a “small” decluttering project :rotfl:

2468 - 2477 Three drinks cans, plastic drinks bottle, 2 foil trays, 2 plastic lids, 2 lots of cardboard packaging - Recycled

Well Done Cheapskate :T lots of decluttering :T

You give us all hope parsniphead :T You are sounding so positive :T

Well Done sweetpea26 :T Large pieces of furniture leaving the building always give one a much needed boost of decluttering mojo :p

TamsinC - talk about preparation :rotfl:

Internet going nuts so will post now
