Back in for a second time this wek to report a sneaky gift to the CS of two laptop bags today.

I went in thre charity shops and didn't buy a thing :D

I have been sorting paperwork tonight and so got rid of a load of paper.

Unfortunately recluttering some more as I empty the shed of craft and other stuff. Some of this will be freecycled or given away but I feel like I am sliding backwards big time.

I hope the shed will be going at the end of the week so I suppose, thinking positively, this is another space that I can't refill.

I am loading the car with more CS items to go tomorrow plus I found out that there is ward that takes clothes for the homeless who get admitted and have nothing. This is very handy as DS has left loads of clothes he doesn't seem to want which I think I will donate. He moved out in March and hasn't missed them. ;)

277- quorn nuggets finally eaten by DD. She hasn't been vege for at least 3 years now, will still
eat vege foods and I refuse to just throw out any vege stuff in the freezer. It will get
    decluttered :)
278- packaging to send the below neutral items recycled by reusing
279- another mass of cardboard out for recycling

121-126 neutral items x 6 sent off to charity for summer tombolas and cats!

Many thanks MrsSD for the gold star. I don't know who is more shocked me or DD that we have managed to keep a dumping ground free of clutter!
I love reading about ur travel adventures

    Hello, and welcome :D

PipneyJane, just to set you off - my favourite mantra “Leave a room tidier than when you went in” - could be something as simple as making the bed before leaving the bedroom, wiping round the sink & hanging/folding a towel before you leave the bathroom.
    MrsSD

Just found this thread,so a late arrival!!
My Mum always said 'never leave a room empty handed',love your mantra though.

I was doing well with de-cluttering,then DD plus dogs, came sofa surfing and still here .......9 weeks later. They are in my craft room ........it was already full.
I'm doing a bag of stuff most weeks, either to CS,rubbish bin or recycling centre.
Why doesn't it go down quicker though?
Perhaps more sneaks in when I'm not looking.
Though I do have a big garage, more like a barn really, each of the groups I'm in feel that it is a useful storage space!

Each bag out should really be accompanied by 'no more!'

I will lurk here please ,hopefully it will spur me on. I really really need a boot up the BTM

    I feel your pain MrsSnowy!!

:Last week a massive bag went to the chazzer, some clothes and throws went to the textile skip at the tip, and I took a bag of fabrics to the library for their crafting sessions.

But there's already one or two things caught my eye, and I'm thinking "that can go".

I'm forced to conclude I've got a house full of carp!!

    Hello Mrs snowy.

I'll tell you why it doesn't go down. Because the clutter elves comes along at night and push more up through the floor. I'm sure it's true because I've been at it ages and I still have loads.;)

I have a bag of stuff for the charity shop. I'm still trying to do DS's bedroom but it's hard with him around. He is more of a hoarder than I am.

Green bin day tomorrow so when that's empty I can declutter more garden weeds, well if it stops raining.

    Anyway keep going. X

I knew it! I'm almost sure I saw one once. :rotfl:

Didn't make a huge amount of progress yesterday: I finished a jar of jam and some cherry tomatoes. Still, that's one jar the less, mustn't complain. :)

Blimey cherry, you're as daft as me. ;):rotfl: You should have caught it and locked it up. We would all be tidier.
