bonus as well in that I found the beef burger separator sheets for when you make your own that hubby was looking for a week ago.“Isn't this enough? Just this world? Just this beautiful, complex

I haven't posted here since 20th June but I have a list somewhere which I'll add if I find it.
I had 853 items decluttered up to then, and I've just spent a few days clearing at my Mum's. Most of this was two areas of garden which I'm really pleased with (and am counting as two items decluttered) but there was also the following:
Mop head, plastic bags (4), drawing pin, gift bow, broken dustpan, damaged scarf, broken planter, tights (6 pairs), 2 belts, 5 artificial flowers, bag of curlers, skewer, dried up tube of glue, 3 leaflets, plastic bowl, 10 packs of obsolete posters, empty hand cream, empty deodorant, coat hanger, pieces of paper (15), copper olive from when the heating was installed, battered cardboard box, comb, battery, end piece of a strap.
So 65 new items bring my total to 918.Still slightly behind target which should be around 1,014 I think?

Morning all. Was away yesterday so little cleared but did manage to recycle old sch calendar and sold beads I have had for ages and never used.
Today's plans include purging make-up. I never wear any so I don't know why I hold onto it! Lol.0 -
1. SMALL TASKS WILL BE DONE ASAP
2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I ENTERED
3. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT
4. WHEN DEALING WITH CLUTTER I WILL USE ‘Daisy1571’s idea of ‘WHAT WOULD I DO WITH THIS ITEM IF IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE’S ?’
5. IF I WAS STARTING FROM SCRATCH, WOULD I BUY THIS?
6. BE LIKE A POSTAGE STAMP - STICK TO ONE THING UNTIL YOU GET THERE
Thursday was a gloriously sunny day & hot, hot, hot 🥵 DH did a small sm trip for drinks & baked beans & took DSis with him. They got back & he continued with the flooring. Slight problem - even though the flooring was the same type as the kitchen flooring - the new pack has a different back & a colour variationso he set off for W*ckes & got the flooring & a bag of compost but then had to come home in 1st gear as the bike decided to play silly beggars  DH has done the repairs (ably assisted by DSis & her small fingers :rotfl:) but has now had to order a new part. He will put the fairing back on today & will also carry on sorting the flooring.
I was in a weird mood - the highlight of my day was making a salad for my lunch using some home grown ingredients - lettuce, parsley, olives added to shop bought ingredients from stores - who knew lettuce has flavour :rotfl: Thoroughly enjoyed it
Dinner was pork loin steaks, boiled potatoes & mixed vegetables. I managed to burn one side of the pork steaks but dinner was tasty nevertheless2 hours later we had hm crumble with ice cream. My weird mood extended to NOT doing the washing up
Hopefully today will be better

Very warm but the sun is having difficulty breaking through the clouds - cool breeze is nice though.
I have had a flurry of activity though :rotfl: so my mood is definitely better :rotfl:
Did last night’s washing up, washed down all kitchen work surfaces, filled sugar bowl & tea bags & coffee jars, potted up 2 small Kilner jars of home pickled olives in olive oil, harvested a small lettuce (washed & ready to eat
) & writing a small shopping list for salad ingredients for tonight’s dinner. So a visit to sm then I need to make a focaccia for tomorrow as DH & I are going to his great great nephew’s 1st birthday party - after all the kiddies have left :rotfl:
2129 - 2141 Nine lots of Cardboard packaging, empty beer can, foil lid, 2 cardboard boxes - Recycled
