I haven't posted here since 17th April and I haven't managed to keep up with all your adventures, either. :( I have to recognise I'm not going to catch up on the reading though I'm sorry about it.
I've not done a great deal of decluttering at home though my notebook says 24 pieces of paper, six books, a catalogue, 2 broken plant pots, a plastic card and, on a baking day when I decided to use things up, some bananas, some eggs, a bag of flour and a bag of currants. (Total 38).
I also did some decluttering at Mum's old place: 2 defunct pillows, a destroyed tote bag, an ancient plastic inflatable cushion, some rather out of date deep fat fryer filters for a fryer that's already been binned, some 'oasis' for flower arranging, the centres of two rolls of parcel tape, a wad of blank calendar pages, a battered box and three cushions. There is also a heap of things ready to go to charity but I ran out of time on those so they will have to be added later. (Total 13).
Back at home we're slowly getting the living room back to rights even though there are still bits of decorating to do. Task of the day yesterday was assembling a new bookcase and I've decluttered 6 books to charity, along with some trousers that don't fit. (Total 7).

So that's 58 new items, bringing my total to 581. I think there's more which I'll add if and when I remember.

I'm definitely slipping on the 2019 items in 2019, though. If my maths is right I've to find about 6 items a day if I'm going to make it to the finish line.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Odd day weather wise - kept threatening to rain but had no more than a few drops all day but oh so cold. All to the good though, as I managed to finish drying yesterday’s washing. DSis put the 2nd coat on the hall & cloakroom walls. DH put up a new light switch & glossed the four loose banisters. I have cleared some more paperwork & watched all episodes of the latest Line of Duty. How great that there is another series :T I am saving up the last series of GoT & will binge watch :p My DB phoned from Germany - was very chatty so had a lovely long conversation :D

I am having a new kitchen fit so my room is currently very cluttered and the kitchen uncluttered - we don't even have units in at the moment. In preparation at the weekend, I threw out 3 bin liners, 3 liners for recycling and 5 smaller charity shop bags, plus one bag of animal stuff for a friend. Oh and 5 pairs of glasses donated to vision aid overseas - it was like a museum of old prescriptions.
Really pleased with how much stuff I no longer own! Going to do the same in every room when house is back to normal.

Had a good day on Monday and 147 bits of paperwork left either shredded or via recycling. Spent yesterday recovering (chronic fatigue) and feeling down that there's still so much to do and my little home still seems so full of stuff.

The nearly full recycling bin shows how much has gone, which helps.

Today is another day and there is 1 item ready to go into the CS box - I will put that into my total tomorrow.

I know, I was tempted to buy some smart new canisters but I thought I would check what was lurking in the back of my store cupboards. :D

Some clutter has been there so long that it almost becomes invisible!

Well I forgot to take the books to my DB but did pass a heavy duty bag of vases on to my MiL yesterday.
