Two bin bags of rubbish and some extra bits thrown today. It's hardly scrapped the surface of the front room but it's a start. Tomorrow afternoon after work I will do some more. I thinks it's going to be a difficult room to sort.
Thanks for the replies regarding the vacuums. I think when I decide to upgrade I will try to find somewhere where I can try them out. They're so expensive though.
I have another boot full of stuff to go to the charity shop. I may try tomorrow, after work. If I can find a space by work I will be easy to do.

Have now added a new declutter goal and that is the excess weight I am carrying
45lbs .. so bad for my joints. Cutting out rubbish foods, eating healthy and increasing my activity. So far in last few weeks I have lost 5lbs.
So the rubbish is leaving my home and the lbs of excess unhealthy fat is leaving as well.0 -

Morning everyone, I've just watched the recycling lorry take away a stack of cardboard and 4 bagfuls, that is clutter I am never going to see again, very satisfying.
My efforts in the dining room are almost there, just some crockery and ornaments left on the table which I will clear this weekend, I am going to photograph to try to sell them, as soon as that is done I will box them up and put them in the garage. If they don't sell I will have to make 5 or 6 trips to the charity shop to take them in batches due to the weight.
This weekend I am starting on the living room, which really shouldn't take too much time to do, it's the re-educating my lot to take their clutter with them when they leave the room so that it stays clutter free which will be my battle.
My mind is starting to feel so much clearer now that I have started to dispose of so much junk. I have a very busy few weeks coming up at work, I feel I can devote my mind more fully to work now, if I have a heavy day at work I know I can at least shut myself in the dining room with a cuppa to wind down.
So glad I found this threadMFW 2021 No: 33 £45000/£45000 Mortgage free @ 11/6/21 🥳0
